So inconsistent food. Some seasoned some not at all. They don't have half of what's on the menu and what they did fix is either over cooked or nasty. Sure will be the last time we eat thr. Only thing good on 4 plates was the shrimp. So 4 plates of food and only 1.5 plates of food that was edible all the rest went into the trash. I mean its sad when they cant even cook a fresh fry once and it be a normal color. My fries matched the burn crisps they dumped in my plate. Don't waste your money

We had been here when it was Carolina fish fry and had mixed reviews about that place also. We were going to give it another try yesterday when we realized it had changed names/management. We decided to still go and see how it compares as the menu was very similar. The girl taking orders was nice. We quickly found out that we should have probably gone somewhere else when we were told they had no clam strips or one of their fish. We had gone to get clam strips. Strike one. Then we were told they were out of Mac and cheese and some other sides. We were planning on getting macaroni also. They also had on the menu that you could get your entree items grilled or fried. When we ordered grilled flounder we were told they only do fried there and that their other location in Ogden does grilled. WHY IS IT ON THE MENU THEN?!? Strike two. After all that and trying to figure out other items to have in place of ones they were out of, we placed our order. Our food came out and they got one of the orders wrong. They apologized and got it right, easy fix. My parents and myself all had our food and my two year old, who ordered the chicken tenders, was waiting on hers. It seemed crazy to me that we got our food but didn’t get her chicken? They said it was still being made. About 10 minutes pass and still no chicken. I went up to the counter to ask what was taking so long and was told they no longer had any chicken tenders, did we want something else. Strike three. My poor toddler was snacking off our plates while waiting on her food and if I hadn’t have gone up to ask about her food I’m wondering how long we would have waited for them to say something. On top of all of that the slaw just didn’t taste right and the deviled crab was about 90% filler. The only positives I have are that the food was hot and the tea was sweet so they get 2 stars for that. This place is awful no matter the name or owners. We will not be back.

Went to Ogden location for lunch today. It was awesome. Very clean and organized dining area. Very friendly staff. Judy was just full of personality and helpfulness. Ordered single pick flounder with ff and slaw. Got 5 pieces of fish and generous fries. Was cooked to perfection. Slaw was very good also. Hush puppies very tasty also. Nice price. Alot better than another seafood place I've been visiting lately. Definitely will return. Thanks for the great visit!

Morgan’s was a real treat! The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was very inviting. If you are looking for a casual dining experience, Morgan’s is a fantastic choice. We will definitely visit again whenever we are in the area.

I really wanted to like this place after reading all the positive reviews. I ordered the single item plate with two sides and hush puppies. I noticed the cashier added on an additional $4.99 for scallops, stating that was "a premium seafood" as were almost all the other seafood choices except for maybe the popcorn shrimp or clam strips. Also they were out of 3 sides, limiting the choices that were available. Total plus tip came to $23 and change which they had me pay up front before receiving my food. At that point I asked for my food to go. Before leaving I looked in the bag and noticed there was no tartar sauce so I was able to ask again for some before leaving. When I returned home and looked at the actual food, I realized that the "premium scallops" were not even real scallops, but those little imitation scallops sold frozen in a bag. They were soggy and swimming in grease. The side item of sweet potato fries also looked just like the waffle fries sold in the frozen food section. They too were soggy, not even warm, and were also dripping in grease. I did not receive the second side nor the hush puppies. For $23 this was an absolute joke. Perhaps this was not typical for this restaurant and a one-off bad experience, but I don't imagine I will be returning for another meal in the future.

Nice place, my boyfriend got the mixed seafood plate with hush puppies and said it was very good, pretty large portion. I wanted chicken tenders but they said they were out, ordered the cheeseburger combo and it was really good. The cheeseburger was pretty big and the seasoned fries were delicious. Decent prices, large portions.

Most of the tables weren't cleaned. The sanitation rating was 94.0The hush puppies had a good taste, but could have cooked a little longer to get the middle done. The fried flounder and calabash shrimp were good and fresh. The tartar sauce was terrible, and I couldn't get the cocktail sauce to ever squirt out of the bottle.My okra was served on my sister-in-laws plate, and I was served with her coleslaw.We had to ask for our drinks eventually, as they forgot to bring them out to us.I felt it was a little pricey overall.

My experience started with there online menu. I called ahead to place order and they wouldn't take my order because I was paying cash when I arrived. Once I arrived I had intended on ordering the carolina seafood platter. They no longer had this they had a seafood lovers combo that come with one less deviled crab and no sides for three bucks more than the bigger platter online. Food was prepared pretty quick no complaints there but portion could have been bigger and clam straps were burnt. Food was good other than the issues I mentioned but dont go by there online menu

This place was so much better before they changed to Morgan’s Seafood. They charge you here to use a freaking debit card. I understand most businesses charge you to use your debit card if it’s a small purchase of like $5 or less but when your total is $30, it’s ridiculous to charge $2-3 just to use my debit card when every thing is already overpriced for the quality. No other place does that so they will end up losing business over that.
