He walked in and out of the bar area three times. Never made eye contact. A customer sat on the opposite end of the bar and got a menu. So I left without service.

I did not eat here but actually next door at the crab house but unfortunately I left my camera there with countless priceless pictures of my family. By the time I realized they were closed and we were not going to retrieve the camera that night we felt so defeated with a 15 hour drive home. Luckily I was able to speak to what I assume was a manager of this restaurant where he took down my name, number and assured me he would personally make sure he spoke with the staff to find my camera. He called me the next day to let me know and unfortunately I wasn't able to pick up the call but I'm just so grateful to run into such kind people. Your small ethical actions were so impactful in our lives I couldn't thank you guys enough. Legend is good people make great food and these were GREAT people. I could recommend them more! Thank you so much!

The food is amazing and tastes delicious. The service is outstanding. The music is HORRIBLE. This is a Mexican restaurant, please play the appropriate music. The music you play is way too much bass and it's giving me a headache. Please change your music. I feel like I'm in a club.

If your black DO NOT GO theyre racist I came first they talked about. Me in Spanish as they took the Hispanics order who came after me and still made me wait , just to get undercooked food they only like whites sadly

Just want to say Thank you for a Wonderful evening. We had a Retirement/Birthday Party for 4 of our friend from work and they were able to put 19 of us at the same table. Where they set us up, we had plenty of room to walk around table to talk to others.Our waitress Sol, did an Outstanding job waiting on us! She was patient, kind and quickly took care of all of our request. All of our Food was delivered to our table at same time allowing us to all eat together. The food was hot, delicious and you definitely received plenty of food. So again, a huge Thank you for helping us to celebrate our Friendship together.Parking: Plentiful parking spots
***Third Visit*** When you visit Wilmington and you want authentic Great Mexican food with an AWESOME VIBE come visit El Cerro Grande! I’ve completed a couple reviews on this awesome place but the 3rd time might have been even better than the previous two! El Cerro Grande which comes with two enchiladas, chili relleno, taco, tostada + rice & beans! I also tried their Fish Taco’s, Chicken Fajitas, and you can’t go wrong with a cold Michalada or Beer of your choice! Super chill and the wait staff was excellent!Parking: Large parking lot! Easy to park!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of seating inside or outside, and super kid friendly!

We love the food but the singing by the employee singing is horrible. We don't go there to listen to you sing - We go to your restaurant to meet up with friends and family to chat and catch up but we can't do that with people singing in our ear. We may have to find another Mexican restaurant on Fridays. Sorry! We do love the food!

I couldn't stop dancing to the music while eating this fantastic food! My favorites are the enchiladas and pollo a la crema. My son ordered the chimichangas with steak, my daughter enjoyed the chicken tenders and smiley fries, and my husband ordered the chori-pollo. The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is great, the food never disappoints! It's the perfect family place and quite affordable.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is actually pretty big compared to most places with only 3 or 4 options. My youngest always gets the chicken tenders and smiley fries, but they also have tacos, nachos, enchiladas, and quesadillas. All are served with a drink and very reasonably priced.

I truly hate to write this review. I have been going here for years and the food has always been very good. Recently, the dinners have been less than expected. I have been recently opening the burritos and other rolled items to find it full of vegetables and very little meat inside. Also, I ordered the carnitas to see if that was less, and the portion of pork is half of what it used to be. And the prices have also gone up. So costs you more for less quality food. I have been noticing this for a couple of months now. Sorry you can't raise prices and give less and expect to be considered a place to continue to frequent. Stop the live music and give us better quality food. Sorry to say but now looking for a new Mexican restaurant in Wilmington....
