Sadly, Hops has closed permanently. A group of friends had lunch there recently, and as usual, it did not disappoint in either food or service. We’ll miss you.

The food and service was amazing! Michael and Rusty were my bartenders and definitely made the experience that much better. This place has made some tremendous strides since my last visit a year ago. Must be new management or something. Whatever it is, I will definitely be coming back very soon. 10/10 would recommend!!

Living right across the street at the new luxury apartments Hawthorne at Oleander. It's close they have great drinks and they have great hors d'oeuvres you have to try Hops!

Yesterday I experienced Hops on a new level. I have had small group events there which turned out great, I've eaten there individually which was great, attended a wedding reception that was perfect, but yesterday it was a group of more than 26, All with individual checks and that's a whole different animal. They handled it flawlessly. We were supposed to call ahead and add our name to a list, I did that. And then that morning they took a headcount to see how many were joining for lunch and they let them know that. When I walked in being one of the first to arrive, they had a separate room set up for all of us at tables of six or so. I was met by the waiter as soon as I walked in and then he grabbed his partner when he realized we were all going to converge at one time and the serving began. It was a limited menu, which I was surprised about, but pleasantly surprised. Everything seemed to flow like clockwork. They had a system to work the room for 26 people for two waiters and there was very little confusion and all the meals came out fairly promptly. My meal was great and they were most accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a large group activity where everyone had their own individual checks.Enjoy!

We had a group dinner for a friend of ours. We were seated in a private area of the restaurant, the room was so clean and pleasant, the staff was friendly and welcoming.Our server absolutely did not disappoint! She was pleasant, caring and got EVERY order accurate! That's quite a feat considering there were 20+ in our group.Our dinners were very tasty and prepared very well!What a great place, great service and great food!

We had brunch here on a Sunday, plenty of seating. I loved that there was live music and a solid brunch menu. I don't need 32 items to choose from for brunch so I appreciated the variety and that it covered all the bases, savory, sweet, hearty, lighter options, all there. Great service and food. Will definitely go back!

Really nothing to write home about. It's good, solid but there are so many other places that offer a lot more. First thing, the table we were down to was not clean. It was very sticky. The corn bread appetizer was different, but VERY sweet- too sweet. My wife got the fish and chips, and she said they were "fine". Which is the same for my burger (Hopsco). Not bad for $12, but I could get a burger from a few fast food places that would be superior- not to mention the many other places that offer truly great burgers. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of variety in beer. I thought a place called Hops Supply Co. would feature an extensive selection of hoppy local beer. Not so. I did eventually find a porter that I wanted to try, and I wish I could tell you if it was good - but I never received it. I'm not sure why but somehow my request for a beverage was lost. I was so underwhelmed with the whole experience I decided it wasn't worth worrying about. When I skip a beer there is definitely something wrong.

Always enjoy this place when we visit Wilmington. Close to UNCW, has a great atmosphere, food and beer selection. Staff have always been pleasant and then restrooms are clean. Will continue to make this a common stop when we visit the area.
Zach was great, booze was good, and people are crazy. But for real, yummy brunch with the gals. Zach was such a great server and helped us in a prompt fashion even with a huge table that was closing out. That’s no easy feat - coming from a former bartender/server. A+ experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Second time there and the food was just as good as the first. Zach was an amazingly friendly and attentive server. The only reason I give it a 4 and not a 5 is I thought the portion size was a little small

I ordered food to go, and it was good! They don't have chicken tenders for adults, so I ordered a kids meal, and it was tasty - the tenders are not the typical frozen ones and came out hot and juicy. The burger had a lot of flavor, but the cheese was kind of weird, more like a goat cheese than what they advertised it as. The sweet potato fries with brown sugar butter dipping sauce (?) were excellent. I look forward to dining in restaurant and enjoying the full experience!
