Delicious pizza. My husband and I were born and raised in NJ (very close to NY) so we know great pizza. This is very close to what we grew up having. Definitely worth the stop.

I posted a negative review about this place a few years ago. Guy at the window was acting like a butthead and so on. Visited again the other day while attending an event in Wilmington and the same guy was at the window. Assume he was having a bad night (my first review) because he was just a normal cool dude this go round. The pizza is good. Especially for walking around the street type of pizza. The Jamaican beef patty knocked down one star. Wasn't the greatest. But... it says pizza in the name. I'm not going to be too critical of a Jamaican patty at a pizza restaurant. Glad he was having a better day because it made for a good intro to our evening of debauchery.

I used to come here 10-12 years ago when I had no money and got 50¢ or dollar slices and got my food for the day. It still tastes as good now as it did back then. This is a downtown Wilmington staple!

It used to be better. My wife and I got engaged in NYC. There's something so special about the city that never sleeps that they write songs and make movies about it. It's influenced popular culture and cuisine around the world. So many places claim to have REAL NYC pizza. Pre covid you could actually go inside and stand at the counter, or maybe sit at the table or two. I'd imagine covid stopped that, and they've kept their carry out model ever since. There are 3 tables and 9 chairs out on the sidewalk to give you a minute to eat your food, so don't be completely out off by the new carryout model. The pizza used to be amazing. $9.00 and change for 2 slices of carryout. The toppings, while not sparse, we're not generous. And the overall quality of the pizza was so-so. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat that won't break the bank, this is probably the place. If you're looking for the best pizza of pizza or a slice of nostalgia, keep walking.

Asked what was on the White Pizza and wanted a slice of Mushroom. Hubert yelled out don’t waste or time, that’s all we have. “No Mushroom”! Have gotten Mushrooms added before with no issue. By the way the guy that rang me up was, and always is very nice. “But not Hubert”Kid-friendliness: Hubert, has no customer service skills. Should continue to make the pizzas, and leave talking to the customers to the other guy!!

It's just a walk-up window pizzeria, but it is better than most if not all in the area!Parking: It's always best to just park in the garage and pay the dollar an hour.

This is without a doubt the best pizza restaurant in Wilmington North Carolina it is the closest that you will get to real New York Pizza and the size on the slice is in close comparison! I will highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone and I always have and I've been coming to this establishment for over 10 years now! Amazing Pizza always exact right amount of crunch and an amazing bite amazing Sauce Cheese and toppings are all high quality!!!!!

Pretty solid pizza with huge slices. Closest thing to New York I have found in the area. The guys that were working were very friendly and personable.
I definitely recommend this place, if you want a taste of New York pizza, this is the place to try it, very friendly, and excellent atmosphere.
