At the end of the day if you are looking for cheap Mexican, this place is for you. The prices are great but you get what you're paying for so the quality isn't amazing. Definitely crawling with college students. Definitely not a bad vibe or bad food, just not elevated or the best Mexican food or anything like that

First of all, it was very clean. Easy menu to pick from. Quick service. Not sire what I expect to see, but it was all very good. We ate outside. My daughter tells me that it gets super busy because of the after 5pm deal. Line out the door! When I go back to Wilmington, I'll be going back for more tacos.

Always fast, pleasant service at Islands. Love the salsa Verde! My brother made a mistake ordering and realized he couldn't eat what he ordered. He went to reorder and they replaced his meal at no charge though he offered.

This is our first Islands' location that we have been disappointed with. The morning manager on 3/17 did not look enthused to be there at all. He was sitting at a table when we walked in and slowly got up to prepare to get ready to serve us. The food on the island was all crusted over and was obviously prepared yesterday. None of the employees talk to each other. It was a very depressing environment.

don't get the guac! the guacamole is in the display with all the other condiments. they don't tell you it is $2 extra for a little spoonful. what a setup! yes, this is good fresh food and done very well. sometimes you'll see a long line at lunch....because people know where to get good food at a fair price. no more whole wheat tortillas unfortunately. the staff is friendly. you really can't go wrong here- if you just avoid the guac. this is a regular for us. yes, everything really is fresh.

This Location is definitely the best location if your looking for a fun place for Taco Tuesday! Affordable prices, the service is usually good. They get your tacos done and finished fast. Taco ingredients are always fresh and the taco you make is only as good as you make it with what you ask for on it! Highly recommend! Only issue and this I think is because the prices and food are good is if you get there right around six on Tuesday you'll see the line going out the door sometimes.

Usually I love going to islands I get the same thing every time and it’s always usually good. This is my first time taking to go, so I didn’t know if it was gonna be different but yesterday I decided to get the same thing as always, shrimp burrito with but decided to get it extra shrimp. I finally had the chance to eat it. I thought it tasted different and I thought it was just me though until it got bad I had to take it apart and it wasn’t what I ordered. It had chicken in it and I only got like four pieces of shrimp I didn’t get any extra I feel like. Honestly, this last me feeling unsatisfactory and left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully the next time will be better.
After this month I'm going to have to give you guys one star since I understand you're taking out the bar. Please reconsider! It's one of the main reasons I visit you, especially on Thursdays! Don't let a great thing go!!
