The oleander location is nasty and the food was disgusting. Cold and plain tasteless... I wouldn't recommend my dog to eat here

This spot is incredible, and the real deal if you are looking for an authentic cheese steak. When I saw they bring their rolls in from Amoroso's bakery, I knew I had to try it. Amoroso's is famous for their rolls, supplying all of the most well known cheese steak spots in Philly. The sandwich was on point, the roll was just as good as expected, extremely soft with a nice chew to it, but the outside held up well to the greasiness of a cheese steak. Comes with onions and American cheese by default, but you can have them put anything you want on it. I tried a default order first, and then the next day I came back and ordered another one with provolone and some jalapenos and sweet peppers lol. Both were great, with nicely cooked and chopped steak and a ton of melted cheese that melts into the meat more as you eat it. The Mozzarella sticks were also very good, a nice crispy texture and the marinara had a ton of flavor. The "Chicken Marinara" sandwich (aka a chicken parm) was also great, but I would recommend ordering some extra marinara on the side. Meatball parm was gigantic and the roll compliments it so well. I did not try the burgers myself, but I did see a couple of them and I would say that burgers aren't really their forte, id go with something on the Amoroso sub roll instead. Also, for those "wizwit" fans out there (if you know you know), I didn't see any cheese wiz around, so i'm not sure if they carry it, may want to give them a call and ask if that's what you are looking for. Give them a try, it won't disappoint.

Worst meal ever, took 30 minutes to get order, food was cold and smothered in cheese. Took two bites and was done. Never go again!!!!!

Phenomenal! I hate that this place is only at the beach as they have the best Philly's in NC. Of course, this place is also worth the drive to just grab dinner as well lol. This is a must try if you are a Philly cheesesteak lover!

Up until now I have been taking the drive from hampstead to get myself a cheesesteak. My recent visit was a huge mistake. I ordered a cheesesteak and mozzarella sticks for myself and my child. While waiting for there new order at counter system. One of the ladies handed away my food to the guys next to me. Knowing it was the wrong food she left it to them. We waited even longer to get our food as the guys next to us are enjoying there free food. The cheesesteak was very poor with literally no meat and cheese. Originally from philly I know how a real cheesesteak is made and this time that was not it. Use to ve the best lunch which reminds of home. Not anymore. Place has gone downhill quick. Ill just stay up my way and not wasting my time here. They lost a loyal customer who enjoys cheesesteaks. Also most of the staff are lazy so don't be blaming the pandemic. Other places are still doing well don't play the blame game.

Walked in, no one in line. Placed an order for two sandwiches and two sides. After watching multiple people march in the door, order their food, sit down, AND receive their food before me I knew there was an issue. I went up to the counter to ask if they had my order and I was told they were waiting on one of my sides. I went back up to the counter after about another 10 minutes only to be told the same thing. All in all it took 45 minutes from ordering to receiving my food. On top of that the sandwiches we cold. The sad part is they didn't even apologize for the wait or the bad service. Will not return to this location.

They didn’t bring my food out at all and they weren’t polite. It’s not as good as it used to be at all

The location on Market(Ogden area) Street is outstanding. The food was delicious and the staff...they are handling the shortage of coworkers as a team. They all made sure your every request was fulfilled. Grace under pressure.

Seat yourself... but no one is paying attention of the order people arrive. Only when a larger party arrived that a waitress came to our area. But we had been sitting there for 10 mins. But still another 5 mins until another waitress came to take our order. You aren’t allowed to place your order at the counter unless you order to go. Why have such a large place for seating if you aren’t going to keep track of who comes in first. Without any menus avail to look at while you wait.

I was honestly disappointed with this place. I was excited to have the "best philly cheesesteak". It had soft bread and great cheese but it was just okay. My friend and I won't be returning. The restaurant needs to be remodeled.

We were told this place had the best "steak subs" We ordered the steak and cheese hoagie. It was a sloppy mess. Hoagie was not toasted. Meat was processed steak (re: pieces of steak grinded up and made into a loaf with a binder added. Frozen, then shaved to resemble fresh carved steak) Tomatoes were over ripe. Lettuce was brown pieces. Then topped off with a mountain of liquid processed white cheese. We could not believe our eyes! We each took on bite. Bland slop on a soggy bun. We told the waitress we were disappointed. She apologized and gave us our $30.00+ check. At check out, they asked again if we liked it. We said no. They replied by saying they never get complaints. They handed us our change and we left. We actually sat and laughed in the car. What was that?? Hoagie from slop hell. We will never return.
