Solid place. Great ambiance, food and service. The food has always been delicious and well presented. We have had everything over several visits. From pizza, to salads, to pasta and more. All beautifully prepared from a chef that seems to care as much about flavors as he does about presentation. Take a look at some of these pictures!

My visit to the Kornerstone Bistro was just as enjoyable as my very first visit. The service and food is superb, along with a very relaxing atmosphere! We will be back again!

One of our local favorites, but last time they ran out of prime rib on Friday. Weird, as that's their Friday special.

This place punches far above its weight! I’ve been here for lunch and dinner, and both times we all left raving about our meals. The tomato bisque is the best we’ve had, the basics like a Caesar wrap with freshly made chips are great, and the dinner specials were fantastic. The waitresses are very nice and attentive, too.

Our party of three decided to take advantage of the half-price mussels on Tuesdays. Two of us got the white wine and garlic, and the other adult requested his in the marinara sauce .For an extra charge they can serve it over pasta. Both sauces were very tasty. However, I think the muscles could have been cooked a bit more because a lot of them were barely opened, and some of the texture seemed raw. We did have to send one back and they sent a new one out because of that. I got the calamari also and I would say it was good but not the best I’ve ever had. A little pricey for an appetizer. One of the best parts of our meal for sure was our server, Maggie. I must say she was totally on top of her game. Always glancing at the table and making sure we had all that we needed. She was also very friendly. I personally think restaurant service is very important when you’re spending money to eat out. Often when you ask others about a restaurant, one of the first things people mention is that the service is either good or bad. That is a deterrent for me. I would definitely give this restaurant a go, but you might want to request the muscles be steamed well.

This was my first time coming yo this wonderful little nook in Porters Neck.. It is nestled in a shopping strip and you would never guess that once inside. We were greeted with smiles and were able to talk while looking at the menu. The waitress brought water and our drinks. We both got one of their special drinks and were absolutely delicious and refreshing. I had the the shrimp pasta dish and the flavors melted in my mouth. A little spice, just the way I like it. I was able to save some for leftovers, which was even better. My friend had one of the pizza choices and she ate the whole thing. It had a great crunch to the crust and was very tasty as well, she said. We will definitely be going back for more.

NEW UPDATE: We visited for dinner and left disappointed. We ate the Asiago gnocchi with pulled chicken and Brussels sprouts. It was good but was misleading as there was only a small barely noticeable Brussels shavings and the portion size was small. Prior we had lemon and shrimp risotto at lunch and it was much more to eat. We paid $25 ea for maybe 6 pieces of gnocchi and a little chicken. Not likely we’ll do dinner again. My mom and I drove up from Sneads Ferry and had lunch here for the first time. We LOVED it and will definitely be back! The Shrimp lemon risotto had so much flavor and the pumpkin cheesecake was so good! It is beautiful inside. I highly recommend this place!!!
