Just finished a delightful meal at La Costa. Fabulous service from both Olivia and Carla.. I ordered the Mas Macho combo. Everything was savory seasoned and presented steaming on hot plate. I will say each selection was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend La Costa and will return again. Thank you for a 5 Star experience.

I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in many different states and this is the worst one I’ve ever been to.

Ordered food to go...who in the heck calls a chicken filled corn tortilla covered in flavorless red sauce a tamale? Overall, just bland, desperate for salt, any spice, God forbid a touch of heat...begging for any FLAVOR at all! The worst, not authentic or frankly edible. Even my dogs turned it down. Don't waste your money!

Been trying to find a good Mexican restaurant in Wilmington and we hit the jackpot. Food was authentic and very tasty. Service was on point. Will definitely be back soon!

The food is not good. They don’t make the salsa from scratch . It actually taste like ketchup mixed with a bottled salsa. It has not flavor. I don’t think there is much home cooking happening in their kitchen. The refried bean were straight out of a can. Etc… the service was just ok. The place looks run down inside. I will not go back. There are too many better options in Wilmington.

first let me start off with this, from the outside the building didn't look too good... got inside and it was worse, strange odor coming from inside the store. me and my wife were then seated and took a look at the menu, my wife normally just gets chicken and rice, everything in their menu was either $16.50 or above with a couple exceptions. no idea as to why their prices are so high but I'd expect for high prices if going to a high quality restaurant this was not that. I would recommend avoiding before putting a hole in your wallet for some chicken and rice...

Not impressed, the painted over wall paper is peeling off the walls, the carpet was dirty with food mushed into it. The salsa tasted like watered down marinara, the queso wasn't queso at all, it was orange beer cheese. I got shrimp tacos that were the most Caucasian version possible and the shrimp were so over cooked it could have passed for burnt calamari and it was not deveined so the flavor was awful. The salad came on a 150° plate and was basically baked lettuce by the time it reached the table. Unhappy with everything so far I ordered chicken chimichangas because that's impossible to screw up but I was surprised by a watery, rancid first bite. Idk how this place has customers, I will not go back. Only gave 2 stars because our waitress didn't deserve the reflection of a single star.Parking: Plenty of spaceWheelchair accessibility: This establishment does have a handicap parking space but the sidewalk and entry way is most definitely NOT Easily accessible.

The refried beans are spot on. Creamy and delicious. I had Chili Relleno, my personal favorite dish. Stuffed with cheese then dipped in an egg batter and fried to golden, melty perfection. This is not an easy dish to find on the east coast and this is the best I've had in over 15 years.Vegetarian options: Nice selection of vegetarian options that area

This Mexican food was absolutely amazing... my only complaint was the cheese dip, it was good but not the white cheese dip I'm use to at Mexican restaurants... but highly recommended Mexican restaurant... the fajitas were great n even the onions n the beans n cheese quesadilla were great also. This is the first time coming and upon entering we were welcomed and seated. It wasn't busy at all for a Friday night. It wasn't loud at all which was nice to enjoy our meal. The food was delivered to table plated well and hot. Our waitress was so attentive and made sure that our drinks stayed filled and continued to come by to see if we needed anything. The prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed and would recommend if you are in the area or you haven't been it's worth coming.
