This is the only place I have found that serves up lobster in warm butter on a roll. It is delicious. I have tried other lobster rolls, always served cold with mayo. Comparing prices, Maine Lobster Roll is less expensive. The bisques and salads are also very delicious.

A friend and I came here to get lunch one day- she did not even know that this restaurant existed! It's the second location for the wonderful Maine Lobster Roll Company- the staff are so friendly, and the owner is great! The lobster is so fresh! I always get the Stonington- warm lobster, warm butter, fresh warm roll- and one whoopie pie. We split a lemon whoopie pie which was the perfect end of the meal! I love this place and hope everyone else does too!

This is such an amazing site here in NC! I lived in Maine for about ten years and travel their religiously just about every summer, I've had many lobster rolls. Each of the rolls I've had here were perfection. I've tried the butter roll and the one with lighter mayo. I also had the New England clam chowder, my so had the lobster bisque (which I tasted) - both were awesome and served with oyster crackers (those cute little soup saltines). I love the extras too! Moxie! Fluff! Even fluff'n'nutter sandwiches. Wicked good! It's pricey but lobster is that good!

My sister & I came from San Diego Ca looking forward to eating a lobster roll that my brother told us about. We all ordered the same roll which consisted of 6oz of the freshest and plumpest lobster I've seen since my living in New England. It was so good and filling I gave the last 1/3 to my brother who was very excited to make out like a bandit with more lobster roll. This particular roll comes with chives in it along with Mayo & celery. I cannot remember the name of roll but it suited us all fine and this was my first ever lobster. I decided to finally try a lobster roll and this lobster with chives on it created such a taste in my mouth that was incredible and I cannot describe my feelings to convey my happiness at realizing I LOVE LOBSTER! The best tasting food and so darn much. My sister and I were in 7th heaven, my brother lives right down the street so this place he's very familiar with. Anyone who happens to live in Wilmington or passing through must make it their mission to stop by and indulge. I'm posting a picture of my roll so everyone can see how packed full this lobster roll is. Now I need to find excuses to come for another visit, also gonna try New England lobster roll. I will always consider this wonderful place to be my first taste of lobster and for its deliciousness and freshness I will always be grateful for this opening my eyes, heart and tastebuds to another world.

We had the Rockland half rolls, lobster bisque, and clam chowder. The lobster was flavorful and fresh, not chewy! The bisque was good - my boyfriend dipped his roll into it. The clam chowder was really good also. The restaurant is fairly spacious for a quick stop type of place. We took our food to go, but there was only one couple dining at the time so there was plenty of seating. Would definitely visit again!Parking: Parking is shared with the strip center that the restaurant is located in. We visited between 1pm-2pm and found there to be ample parking.

Amazing food. My husband and I got two whole lobster rolls, two lobster grilled cheeses, a bowl of lobster bisque, a side of macaroni, a whoopie pie, and drink for about $100. Everything was delicious! The whoopie pies are from a bakery but are kept frozen.
