We sat down at the bar and waited 15 minutes. Nothing. No one asked for our order. They had one job, ask what we want and pour a drink. They failed. After 15 minutes of no service, we left. On the way out we were asked by the host: "Everything OK?" Do better.

First, the positives: we went there with our pup & sat on the patio. It was late in the day & cool and they tried to light the LP heaters but ran out of gas, so it got quite cold. Server was very nice and tried to be helpful, but was pretty busy so his time outside was quite limited. Now, the negatives: we had to wait SOOO long for everything & I don't think it was the waiter's fault. It got so cold outside that we asked for the order "to go" so we could eat in warmth. It took a long time to even get that part of our order...again, not waiter's fault. I was sitting inside by this time so I could see when the order was ready & he bagged it right away. By the time we got back to our hotel room, we didn't want to eat right away and when we got ready to eat, there was a very long hair wrapped up in the sushi!!! I called the restaurant immediately and they took off that part of the food. They did offer to remake it but after seeing that, no thanks!! Really had looked forward to having sushi here & that just totally ruined it, made me just about sick and now I don't want to eat at all. I don't understand at all how this very long hair could've gotten wrapped in and around this sushi without being noticed in some way. Really, really bad quality control on someone's part.

We love to eat at Nikki's when we come to Wrightsville. Good food with very entertaining chefs. Nice variety of cocktails also.

Stopped in while in the area and caught them in between lunch and dinner. Attentive service, clean, and eclectic atmosphere. Highly recommend getting both a almon tataki and vegetable tempura, then dipping the tempura in the tataki sauce. Sooo good!

Slowest service ever. Went on a Thursday night around 630pm. Waited 50+ minutes for food to come out with the restaurant only a quarter full. Mediocre table service and ridiculously overpriced for the quality of food. Will not return.

They went above and beyond and had amazing service.
We celebrated my sisters 50th birthday dinner there. We were a rather large group, the way Allison took such great care of us should be known. She was so attentive and always had a smile. Her customer service was amazing. The entire staff were great. I’m definitely coming back and recommend 10/10 thank you all for what you all did for us!!!

me and my husband spent almost $100 on food we did not like. they put sauce all over our food that we did not ask for then, didn’t even touch my sushi that cost $16 manager did not even offer to take it off or offer me something else that i’d like. very poor customer. im truly disappointed after i was excited to eat here. waste of money.
