Extremely unprofessional. I tip what I want when I want based on how good the service is. If you got stiffed it's because you provided terrible service. You are the problem. Not the customer.Harassing customers because you didn't get what you thought you deserved is probably the reason you didn't get it in the first place. That being said this place has terrible service.

Chill dive bar. Nice regulars and bartenders. Occasionally there are punk or other indie bands or DJs that play here.

It smells. Beer is warm. Service doesn't exist. This is the place homeless people go to spend your change. If you are lucky, you might talk to a liberal arts major, rounding their 10th warm PBR, about how important it is to the environment that you know her cats' horoscope and gender it correctly.

I had a great time here and everyone was friendly. I felt safe as a woman by myself. I will be back!

They don't like people of certain skin colors.Btw I emailed them before I left this. And go no response so spare me the "email us" response... Ok?

Well this place was truly misleading in every way.Rudest staff ever. Horrible drinks.Just no. Go anywhere else. This is not the dive bar you are looking for.

The opera room is awesome. It's a dive bar and doesn't pretend not to be, not sure why it doesn't come up on yelp under the list of Wilmington Dive bars, many of which are not at all. Anyway, awesome owner, good crowd of regulars, weird art, relaxed atmosphere with cool bartenders who are chill but don't tolerate b******** Also I saw a weird review commenting on the membership card thing acting like it was personal but everyone has to have a card (which are a buck/free) and that is an Alcohol Law Enforcement/NC law- bars that don't serve food (or make over a certain percent of sales in alcohol) technically have to be considered a 'private club' -hence the membership cards! Anyway if you want a beer, some shots, or just in general to get a drink somewhere other than the same old bars on front street that everyone packs into, head down Grace St and discover your new favorite hole-in-the-wall and meet your new weirdo friends!

Bartender was amazing! Love the VHS tapes and movies on the old tvs! Definitely a cool vibe!

Really cool bar with cheap beer, but I'm never coming here again. An extraordinarily ignorant bartender convinced me tonight that this isn't a place for freedom loving people.

The only place to drink in wilmington. The whole gang is great and the drinks are cold (not stinky).

Everything is half broken, the sink is broken, the table has one screw There's a back alley that looks insanely sketch. please be safe while using the restroom and do not sit on the actual toilet seat unless you want to contract something. On the plus side, there was no line to get inside.

This has been a rad night already. Top notch service from cool folks. Fun environment. Jack was a wonderful lad and loved it.
