Day 11 of personal quarantine and complete isolation on Figure 8 Island called for a delivery. I was so impressed when I opened up the bag and unpacked everything... it all looked so perfect and fresh. Best looking Gyro I've ever seen. Stuffed to the gills with meat and goodies. Thank you so much for preparing and delivering your food with care. It was a really nice treat for me and made me really happy to see that people are obviously still feeling good and taking pride in what they do. Hope you guys continue to prosper. I'll be back for sure.

I was so impressed how simple and easy this takeout meal was during covid-19. Placed my order online with all the options to remove or add items...even get sauce on the side! I paid online and received an email and text on how to reach them if needed. They said 20 minutes to prepare the food which was just enough time for me to get my things and drive there! When we pulled in they had a convenient drive-thur! The women asked my name and my food was ready a few minutes early. She was very nice and gave me extra cilantro and hot sauce when I asked! So simple and fast! We had ordered a classic gyro, a gyro shawarma and the veggie platter with a Greek salad, grape leaves, plantains and cilantro jalapeño hummus! Everything was made exactly to order and so delicious. I should have ordered more pita for the hummus because it didn't come with any. The gyros were huge with plenty of meat and sauce. I preferred the classic versus the shawarma but since my husband and I shared I got the best of both!! The plantains were like a dessert and almost melted in your mouth. All the flavors were perfect for this quick Mediterranean meal! We'll definitely be back!

Peno has a delicious menu. Fresh made salads, falafels, a variety of hummus, and of course gyros and wraps! Kids menu... Casual atmosphere. Great lunches and dinners!! plus a small selection of beer and wine!!
Location is clean and bright. Menu is easy to read and well laid out. Both ladies who waited on us both times we were there were friendly and very helpful. The pita bread is soft and airy, all the hummus is delish and the falafel is legit. The cilantro tahini is amazing - I could eat it on everything! Everything we had was great both times we've been to this location. our kids ask to go here! We will definitely go back!

Great Mediterranean food!!! I have been eating lunch here once a week for a while. Food and service has been consistently great. Large portions served quickly and hot right off the grill. Clean tables and bright eating area give Peno a very welcoming feeling.

Good selection of Lebanese and Greek food with choices ranging from vegetarian to multiple meat options. The prices are fair and the portion size is good without being excessive. They have very nice sauces as well.

Oh my lord, the location of this Peno en route to Wrightsville Beach or home from Wrightsville Beach is simply put, the best location ever. I stop both ways as I can't get enough of their Gyro's with spicy sauce........fantastic. Not to mention the owners and staff are completely amazing. The place is clean, the food is made to order and everything is fresh. Can't say enough about it and I highly recommend this location to anyone.
