Recently updated and energized in December of 2023 according to our server. (Who was really good) Love the new frozen drink specials, my wife had the Blueberry Arnold Palmer. I had the fried chicken and she had the tacos. We can’t wait to go back. The baked clam appetizer hit the spot. We ended the meal with the chocolate bacon. Yes, chocolate bacon.

Eating at RX feels like enjoying a 5 star meal at your really cool friend's fancy home. The decor is just so cool, especially the art on the walls painted by the owner. I am a sucker for a restaurant’s specialty cocktails and RX’s are just the best! I have tried a lot of the menu items and enjoyed them all. It usually means I am ordering a lot of extras to take home. The oysters they farm, grown and harvest themselves are the best in NC by far. I can not explain why you need to go to RX by just saying the decor, food and drinks are awesome, it is just such a cool restaurant and I will forever be their biggest fan!

We were so impressed with the quality of the food at Rx. Everything is locally sourced and prepared to perfection. The fish, oysters, chicken and even the ice cream was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. Very easy to find parking outside of the restaurant for a Friday night.

Didn’t expect much but my date and I were very impressed! Everything we had from the super fresh oysters, the salad, and especially the main entree(chicken, sweet potatoes, and some of the best collards I’ve ever had) was delicious! Great place with great food and service! Would go again!
RX hits it out of the park literally every time my wife and I visit! I grew up on southern cooking and this is elevated, thoughtful, local southern cuisine at its finest. The atmosphere is inviting and always feels like home. We like to finish with the Benne Brownie. Whether we need it or not, we manage to find room. My only problem is that I can’t try everything on the menu at once! 10/10 recommend multiple visits.
Rx raises their own oysters. These are the Kobe beef of oysters. Coddled, sent to Motessori, and the bicuspid orthodontist.Well raised and perfectly presented. Sarah and Sarah behind the bar will take good care of you.

RX has reopened with some old favorites and new additions. The fried chicken was surprisingly delicious because it wasn’t greasy. The chicken wings are by far the best in town. We’ll be back just for those!Parking: Street parking in the area.
