This is a gem! Quaint, top notch restaurant. Servers were attentive and the food was unbelievable! Best food we ate while visiting Wilmington, NC. Forget the riverside restaurants, you can just do the Riverwalk and then head here. This was one of the best meals we ever had. Well done!

The best jalapeño cilantro margarita I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. It needs to be added to the menu it was Phenomenal!! The tuna caliente 10/10 and the shrimp n grits were so good! I'm shocked at how good this place is! Also has the verde salsa which was also amazing! You have to try this place! You won't regret it!! You know it's good when your last bite is as good as the first!

I had the carne con ancho and it was tender and absolutely delicious! My husband had the fish special that night (forgot the name) but it was equally as good. The chef and kitchen staff really go out of their way to make these meals a delight! We both had the high seltzer, which gave us a slight mellow buzz. Similar to a glass of wine. Had the panna cotta for desert. Fabulous!Vegetarian options: My friend had the Vegan Rellenos and loved it.

The food was very bland. I don't know why they said jerk chicken because nothing about it was a jerk. Tell me what jerk chicken is sweet and bitter. When i ordered the salsa fresca i knew it wasn't going to be good place.Service was good but inform us it was too late to cancel order because i really wanted to cancel cause of how you mess up salsa.But i will say they did have a good playlist.

Excellent dinner with friends! We will be back again! The place is a little small so go early. The food and the service were very good. Everyone cleaned their plate except me. Really tasty, I just eat small portions. I will try the tapas next time.

Some of the best Latin food I’ve tasted. The chicken empanadas were delicious. Don’t forget to ask for a side of house hot sauce. Made the meal explode with delicious flavor!

So I'll try to keep it all in order. I visited for lunch on 3/12.It's a small place so if you're going at a peak time it's gonna involve a wait. It's very cozy, but in a good way. I'm pretty sure capacity is like 27 or 28 max.I ordered the Gato's tacos. The pork belly was beautifully crisped and still had a great melty chew. I got two large tacos for 11 bucks and left on a full stomach. The greyure(I am sure I butchered the spelling) was very good with the Dijon Aioli. I'm definitely going to be back for those tacos.They have a small bar with decent selection. I had a few drafts and they came out perfectly cold. They carry beer,wine and spirits.And finally, the staff. Both the waitress and the bartender were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful.

This is a little small joint, but I tend to find the smaller places more appealing food wise. Our server was really cool! I loved that you could get a sampler of the salsas or dips! The verde salsa has really good flavor! The sweet potato goat cheese guacamole was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tried!!! Definitely will be coming back here!!
