Update: what a red flag response...You can not convince me that trying to profit off serving drinkable water is cool. Sorry vegan fam; This place is not it.Original: They charge for a cup of water with your meal. I'll let you know now since they won't til they hand you the bill, "it's the expensive reverse osmosis so they have to." This place is a joke.

Tonight was my first time at Sealevel City Vegan Diner and it did not disappoint! I love the eclectic vibe of this space, and the staff made it feel very welcoming. I was so excited about the variety of options on the menu and decided on the Taco Salad. My husband ordered a couple of their hot dogs and we shared some Nacho Fries. Everything was delicious! The food tasted fresh and seemed like it used a lot of in-house, from scratch ingredients. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.

Wilmington your vegan game is strong! It's not Orlando or parts of California strong (yet), but it's better than some larger NC cities (looking at you Durham, Raleigh). Most places throw Beyond or Impossible Meat at you and serve you a couple of variations on that style burger and maybe have some Jackfruit BBQ. Instead of following the crowd Sealevel went full old school diner and it was brilliant. The chili cheese fries were solid, the lentil burgers and milkshakes (Yes! they have milkshakes and may I recommend the Mint Chocolate Chip) were very respectable and felt wonderfully at home in a vegan diner. The best item was the kimchi, tempeh Reuben. Yes, kimchi sounds like a typo (it isn't) but somehow it works by being spiced ever so perfectly and pairing well with sauerkraut. If you're in need of vegan comfort food and don't necessarily need it to be of the specifically Southern variety, Sealevel can fit that vegan milkshake sized hole in your stomach. Highly recommend.

Surpassed our expectations. One of us is vegetarian this month and the other has no restrictions, we enjoyed everything we tried and felt nothing was compromised in quality and flavor. The crunchy wrap and the Reuben were our rockstars tonight.

My vegitarian daughter came in from Richmond looking for vegan food, she found this gem and we ordered take out. Oh my, I am an omnivore, at least I was un!!til now. I ordered the Baha shrimp tacos, not expecting much, but were they ever delicious! We also tried the chili cheese fries and they were just as good! I will definitely be dining here again, the atmosphere was cute, casual and friendly. just do it!!

Hands down the absolute best vegan spot in Wilmington. Food is always amazing. Our fav's are the Kimchi Ruben, the Patty Melt, "shrimp" taco's and chips & queso. The fries here are also the "perfect" fries in our families opinion (get it with a side of Kimchi ranch!) Their daily specials are also out of this world. Don't miss the "big smack" burger if they have it on Thursdays...its out of this world amazing! (better than any burger we've ever had...and that includes prior to being vegan!).Also, don't miss out on all their baked treats on your way out, they are all absolutely delicious!

Check out this casual diner for the best vegan food options. The burgers, sandwiches, salads, and desserts are all absolutely delicious. Also, don't miss out on their rotating specials. I have yet to have anything I don't LOVE here. You'll also enjoy their sides of delicious homemade chips, fries, plantains, salads, and more. Highly recommend and I've had a lot of friends be very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten-free options, all vegetarian and vegan

The food was delicious! It was 30 mins out of my way but I'm so glad I went by there. The chili cheese fries were amazing. I can't wait to go back again. I was so happy to find a healthy vegan resturant while I was away from home. The burgers looked amazing, can't wait to try them next. The staff was also super friendly too.
