Fantastic seafood ! Freshly cooked to perfection. The sampler is huge so bring your appetite or share it! Hushpuppies fresh and crispy . The place is very clean. All the young men & a female server worked together as a team to get everyone served and checked on us throughout-they are to be commended! This was on a Sunday afternoon around 330pm. Highly recommend!

A gem "hole-in-the-wall" type of eatery. Always visit it on the way in for a vacation at the beach, as well as a couple more time while in the mitts of our vacation. "Something Fishy Seafood" always at the top of our list. Been eatting thier Calibash style seafood since the 90's.

The service was fine. Was worried when I walked in on a Saturday at 1pm and there were only 5 tables occupied. All older folks. I was right because the food was not good and totally outdated. Obviously all pre-made, frozen and dropped in the fryer. Got the sampler and everything tasted the same. If you had a blind fold on, you wouldn't be able to tell on thing from another. No flavor other than the grease and breader. Green beans straight from a can with no seasoning. No clam in the clam strips, oysters were greasy balls of mush. Please dont do that to scallops anymore. My daughter and I left feeling ill from the grease and I still feel ill 4 hours later or I wouldnt have even written this. I didn't cause a fuss because I hate that so I left a tip, paid my bill and left. How can you be minutes from the ocean and have nothing fresh? Dont tell yourself you cant. There a fresh markets everywhere. I am a cook, I will come and show you. I try to support local businesses but you will not be in business for long if you dont start to cook some decent food. Fresh fish tacos, shrimp scampi, shrimp and grits (you are in the south), oyster stew, fresh seared scallops. They are all simple, can be had fresh, quick and easy. Please change so you can attract a new and younger crowd that will get you out of the 1980s and into the 2020s. Stop riding on the fact that the big dude with the spikey hair came by one time. I don't want to see your kind of business go away.

The price for the food is amazing for the portions you are served.This is a destination seafood place.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free breading upon request.

Came here because it was featured on diners, drive in and dives show with Guy fieri. I ordered the steamed scallops which were more expensive than the fried scallops which I thought was strange. My meal came with hush puppies and 2 other sides, which I ordered the French fries and corn on cob. My husband and friend ate the hush puppies and my husband ate my corn, which was a half of a cob. My husband ordered the clam chowder which also has bacon (his favorite) in it. My friend ordered the shrimp cocktail which wasn't the regular large shrimp, they were small but she got a bunch of them. Atmosphere was fish oriented. Service was good and prices reasonable.

We eat gluten free (one celiac in the family) so eating fried fish at a restaurant is rare, and this place delivers. Delicious and safe! We ate here twice on vacation. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the food is top notch.
