What a great location! We sat inside because it was a bit chilly but still had views of the river. I love that it was right on the boardwalk. The staff was attentive and energetic. Food was delicious! For apps we had Brussels sprouts, Bree, crab cakes, and fried oysters. I'm not the biggest fan of Brussel sprouts but they were so crispy and savory. The rest of the apps were also perfection! I have the beets and goat cheese salad with fried oysters. I can't remember what sauce was on the salad but wow! They did a great job. I ended the experience with a crème brûlée. It was savory and soft. I recommend checking them out. No one at the table had complaints.

We went here for a friend's birthday party. Our server had only been there for a month and unfortunately it showed. The food was fine, but service was subpar. I ordered a 15 yr scotch neat. It came out with a block of ice. I know sometimes things get confused so I let our server know I had asked for it neat and she apologized. A couple minutes later she brought the glass back and it was clear either herself or the bartender had simply taken the ice cube out of the drink, but it has already melted half way. So I ended up with a watered down scotch. There were other small issues but that's what stood out to me. Quite disappointing.

Many, many, many... did I say many open tables and couldn't squeeze me in. I was alone. Missing the big picture.

I won't tell my worst enemy to eat here the risotto was regular cheap white rice the scallops were small and burnt the Blackened ribeye steak was Burnt not blackened and the way they treated my Daughter was awful It was her birthday and they threw us a lighter to light are own cake and no one bothered to sing happy birthday to her at all but had the nerve to get a gratuity From all of us and the service wasn't worth what she was tipped it wasn't crowded either so if you have any since you wouldn't dine here NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! Ambience sucked!!!

I was invited to a dinner party of 15 for a friend’s birthday on April 12, 2024. We were seated outside for a 7pm reservation. Everything was great at first! The drinks, appetizers & waitress. Then a gale wind starting blowing extremely hard, so we were no longer able to stay outside. The staff was bringing in and accommodating every other table that was outside, except ours. We were left standing inside with a constant back & forth with the manager (I did not get her name) who had a complete attitude problem. Lastly, since our dinner orders were already in, we were made to take them in to go boxes, and ordered to pay for them with the large party tips. We were told if we didn’t pay the tip, the card that was used to reserve the tables would be charged. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a so-called “upscale” restaurant & I will never go here again.

No exaggeration, this is the best restuarant I've ever been to. The food was absolutely amazing. Try the Raviolis and crab dip. Boyfriend said the blackened catfish is the only catfish he's ever loved. The drinks were too good! I recommend Queen Anne's Revenge. The waitstaff was so fun and helpful. It was nice being inside out of the wind. And the interior was gorgeous. Such a wonderful choice for our anniversary dinner.

We were seated in the alfresco dining area on the back deck. Aside from the fact that the evening was a little warmer than normal, and their outdoor heating was pumping until we asked them if they could turn it down a little, the seating and atmosphere were perfect. The server was on point and always within ear shot of our table and the good was delectable. It was our first time there, but we'll DEFINITELY visit again. And again

A perfect 10/10 experience. Was my first time going and was blown away. We were seated right away and the accommodated a change to our reservation to seat us outside. Service was top notch, the right amount of attentive, welcoming, and professional. The food was so good. A casual feeling menu but executed so well. The fried food was light, crispy, flavorful, and not greasy in any way. The NZ lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the mint/pea risotto was done very well. The key lime pie was awesome as well!To top it off, the next day when I opened my take home box (big portions, well worth the money) they were packaged with such care and attention to detail. Fried food separate from sauce and coleslaw to stay crisp, foil to reheat.I will absolutely be back with family and friends for a casual evening on the deck or with my spouse for special occasions.Parking: Paid parking but they give you a voucher to put on your windshield if you're eating there.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved it and the kids burger was actually really good. Fries were really good, many were parent taxed.

Higher end food and prices, but the actual shop details are shabby (chairs are old, bathrooms dirty/dingy, didn't feel clean even though it was only 11:30am on a Friday). Food was delicious and presentation was on point - beautiful food...but they need a renovation of the establishment.Parking: Paid street parking but they give a voucher to make it free

My husband and I had a lunch date on the patio by the river. Food was excellent. We got the seared tuna, fried dill pickle chicken and filet tip pita. The side of Brussels with beets is delicious. The service was quick, made for a very nice day.

We had been on vacation for 2 weeks eating out alot so I don't remember what food we had to eat but I do remember that this restaurant was one of our favorites. It is along the river and you could see the North Carolina battleship not very far away where you can take tours on.

I would post a picture of what I ordered, but I finally just told them to box it to go after waiting 50 minutes. They also got the order wrong, even after the server specifically clarified that my Ahi Tuna was prepared rare. I got the bill and noticed it said "salmon". He stated that I ordered salmon, but I reminded him that he is the one that clarified how my TUNA was cooked. They took a whole $15 off of my order, so only half the price of the tuna.I'm sure they are usually better than this, but this was my first time there, and it was a bad experience. The only good part was the view.

Great food place on the River. We have been a number times, and IMHO their She Crab soup is one of the best soups I have ever had. A shoutout to Able our bartender who was helpful, friendly and personable.Sunsets across the river silhouetting the Battle Ship are amazing.

The staff did pay close attention to the notes I left on my reservation since I needed an early reservation which was nice. But to be honest the food was just mid. I had been told by many people that the mashed potatoes were fantastic. Sadly mine were not. They were lumpy and didn't even taste of garlic. The steak was good and cooked correctly but the sides did not impress for the price. The only other issue was that the waitress did not check on us very much. Overall it was ok but should have impressed more since the price of each entree was quite high.
