I love that this is my neighborhood cafe. They have the BEST fried chicken biscuit I’ve ever had. I love their garlic Parmesan fries with the Alabama white sauce. And not to mention they may have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever tasted. I usually take out but I’ve also eaten in and love the atmosphere and the staff is amazing! I will continue to recommend you to everyone and keep coming for my biscuits!

As a budding chicken biscuit conaseur- this was probably the best chicken biscuit I have ever had. Didn't share with the wife. It was carefully packaged to-go. Excellent presentation. Chicken was the exact same diameter as the biscuit but real thick with plenty of meat. Not very spicy, well balanced. Wife loved the blt with egg. She wouldn't share.

Loved my visit to The Getaway! The service was wonderful and friendly. Food was out of this world. Best Parmesan fries I’ve ever tried. Grilled cheese and soup on a cold, rainy day was delicious and comforting. Chocolate chip cookie was fabulous…and I’m a cookie fanatic! My friend and I were super happy with our experience.

Cute little place with delicious sandwiches and coffee! I love the ambiance and the vibes here. Plenty of inside and outside seating. I ordered an iced latte and sandwiches to go. They were both delicious and I really liked the coffee. Win win! It is a little on the pricey side especially since the sandwiches don't come with chips or anything on the side. But you can tell they use quality ingredients. Can't wait to go back and try more!

5 stars, def recommend! One of my favorite places to grab lunch.... The menu is really well thought out, gourmet and complex yet simple! Some of the best brisket, an amazing smashburger w bacon jam, biscuit sandwiches for breakfast, they change the menu regularly which is nice so we get lots of variety!
I liked their fried chicken sandwich and garlic parm fries. My mom didn't care for her gardenista bowl and normal fries. They have a nice outside seating area and brought water for our dogs.

We love the Getaway. Super good biscuits and sandwiches. The staff is always very friendly. My friend and I visit at least twice a month. After we eat we take a walk on the shaded Riverwalk nearby. Sheer perfection!
