This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately they are delivery or pick up only. I happily pick up and eat in the comfort of my own home. Food is delicious, portion size and pricing are great. If you haven’t tried this place, I recommend you do.

What happened to the Paper Crane? I recently visited Wilmington looking forward to a nice dining experience. I walked in and saw all the tables were pushed aside and boxes were stacked up on them, so there was no dining area. The restrooms had an "out of order" sign on them. I thought to myself what is going on... isn't Covid over for that excuse. I ordered my food and waited standing up the whole time. When I finally received my order, I went somewhere else to eat it and the food was not good. The shrimp and steak Phoenix dish was too spicy to enjoy. The egg drop soup was too watery, the shrimp fried rice had four pieces of cut up shrimp in the entire container, and the noodles of another dish were so overcooked it was mush. I wasted over $40. Laziness and tasteless food. They need to make a change or this business is over. Never again.

I received my order. I ordered a quart of beef and broccoli. I did not order beef and broccoli with a pound of white rice. The rice NEVER comes together. I found a flyer on my door today and decided to try it out. No utensils in the bag. No sauces. Never again.

We just ordered lunch. It was delivered quickly. The shrimp moo shu was so delicious. All the vegetables were fresh and crisp. The shrimp were plump and tender. We always get an extra order of pancakes, it only a $1.00 for five more. The shrimp egg foo young was excellent. Crispy edges and three huge patties, made our meal yummy. Get the gravy on the side. Only thing, we always order chop sticks and we never get any!?

On line ordering beware- Love the food but they don't start preparing it until you get here and pay.. the website will say it will be ready at a certain but it is always 15-20minute wait. This has happened multiple times, thought the first were by mistake but it was not. Truly my last time giving them business because they don't value your time.

I never give bad reviews, but frankly people need to be held accountable for delivering quality products to consumers.Just received my order. Paid $4 extra for white meat, not sure chicken was even in my orange chicken entree. It was basically dough and some very chewy substance, and the sauce was very thick, gooey, but not in a good way.The lo mein was good and so was the spring roll. But overall everything was offputting because of the chicken dish was so questionable.The delivery driver was very nice and courteous.
I am sorry to leave a 3 star review for this business because I have been happy with their service and food before but my order tonight was an hour later than they told me, 55 minutes, which is not that bad but it actually took 2 hours and the food was cold when it got here. I imagine it's a staffing problem but still quite disappointed. Sad because I'm a long time customer. I still tipped the driver $5 because it's likely not his fault. NB I edited the review to be a 3 star I instead of a 2 star because they've usually been quite good.

Spent 20 minutes on their out of date web site. Drove up and showed them my order and was told it was 17 dollars more! I’ll never order here again and WILL discourage anyone I know from ordering food from here

Paper crane, paper promises, and paper $wasted! Do you like to wait for your food and be unapologetically tossed the indication that your food was never even STARTED? Then here's just the place for you to waste heartbeats on!We ordered 2 dishes at 8 pm and they gave us a 45 minute wait time. Still lengthy but oh well. My fiance called on the 46th minute and was told to wait 20 more minutes, she hangs up and we wait.This happened 2 more times (total 1hr 45 minutes) before we cancelled our order and the little boy on the phone scoffed. Doesn't take time or effort to put sauce on noodles, and if it were good food maybe it would have been worth the wait. The 3.9 star review says otherwise. Our fault for resting on our laurels.
