It's a nice shop, it's actually nice to see a self service shop functioning in this day and age. (I don't think its that way all the time.) The 4 cupcakes we got have been incredible.

Saw the "Cupcakes" sign from the corner and had to go check it out and man are we glad we did!!! A cool variety of flavors already packaged and ready to go. We took ours back to our hotel and enjoyed with a cup of coffee. They were all delicious!

This was a really weird experience. We looked up cupcake places downtown so didn’t know anything about the experience when we walked in.The store itself is beautiful..it’s almost like a spa with cupcakes in various places. They are about 50% more than other gourmet cupcakes in the area at $5 each. The place is air conditioned but the cupcakes aren’t in a refrigerated area. The cupcakes were ok. There are two types of buttercream frosting..one that is light and fluffy and almost savory and one that is sort of bitter and cheesecake like. These are of the latter. We bought pretty much all the ones that they had on display. Here’s the weird part..you checkout yourself. You get your own cupcake, your own bag, your own spoon if you want it..go to the kiosk to pay. And then it asks you for a tip. Repeatedly. More than once. It is difficult to attempt to checkout without leaving a tip. Again, these are 50% more than any other place and there is literally no one there. You can’t ask anyone questions, you can’t ask about ingredients or when they were made. And then you get asked 3 times to tip. I know many people that have small businesses, and this isn’t just the app. They have to actually put in there requesting a tip that many times. We probably won’t be back. They were ok but the whole experience of no one being there and self serve was just super weird for us. Also, most of the cakes are pretty high up so if you have kids with you, they won’t be able to get their own. Kids said this place was a hard pass for them.Kid-friendliness: Not very. The cabinets are glass and the cupcakes are high.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible to get in and out..but would be tough if more than one person is in there. Most of the cupcakes would be too high up for someone in a wheelchair to reach on their own. And again, no one is there at all so no one can help.

I enjoyed a tasty vanilla cupcake with a slight orange flavor. Frankly, I was a little nervous about the orange flavor but it was not overpowering. This place is a delightful little boutique cupcakery that operates on the honor system. Consider, giving this place a try.

Charged me for three cupcakes, no cupcakes, came out. There was no help number, the one listed was anll 0’s which is upsetting and even when I called the other store, there was no one I could get through to. I will have to dispute this with the credit card company.

Well we use TripAdvisor wherever we go to find new culinary adventures and heading to Wilmington we did just that and found peppered cupcakes ranked number 1 so we stopped. Tried a simple vanilla chocolate cupcake and that’s what it was simple. No wow factor just as basic as you can be, such a disappointment but maybe we picked the wrong cake. Few miles down the road in Morehead City is Happycakes now this place brings the WOW factor and then some. Next time in Wilmington we will be looking elsewhere for a good dessert.

Great cupcakes! We used their vending machine which is a super cool idea!

We walked to the store front because online said they have vegan cupcake options. When we got there, it was a vending machine with cupcake and no vegan options. The idea is cute. Maybe just update the offerings.

This is a different experience from other bakeries. It's a vending machine that has the answers to all the questions about the cup cakes. Nice and easy to get a cupcake.

These are cupcakes like NO others! There are standard flavors that are available every day, and specialities of the day. I wanted to visit on a Friday, because that is Chocolate Turtle with Nuts day! Just cashed in my birthday free cupcake coupon; only good at Racine walk-in location. Downtown is a vending machine.

A great idea, fresh baked gourmet cupcakes available through a vending machine. Many varieties with butter crème icings. This frosting is found through the middle of the cupcake. I chose Chocolate Revelation and is was just the right amount of chocolate. My husband decided on Tuxedo which was chocolate with vanilla icing. There in a microwave to warm the cupcake up if desired. Can’t wait to take the grandchildren here!

I was super excited to try the pepper cupcake, but was a little disappointing when I noticed that this wasn't a location with actual employees that bake the cupcakes. This location has vending machines. Wow I do agree it is pretty brilliant I think it's quite the experience that I thought I was going to have and I don't like refrigerated baked goods. Overall, I get the cupcakes a five out of 10 if ever in the area again I'll try the other location.
