This place has the best Italian food! It’s a must if you haven’t been! You will thank me later! The knots, the pizza, the cheese steak, the meatball sub, the manicotti, THE CHEESECAKE ? and the tiramisu!
The food was ok. I have had better pizza from the local pizza places. The service was ok, there seemed to be only one young lady trying to service all the customers. The place itself was clean.

Tried Mama Mia for the first time tonight and OMG! It was so delicious. The garlic knots were the best I've ever had, the manicotti was amazing, and the cheesecake....I can't even rave enough about the cheesecake. This is our new date night restaurant!

The doctors office I work at wanted to order lunch. We called the day before to let them know we would be placing an order the next day and if we could call it in. They said they needed the credit card in the restaurant so we could not pay over the phone. Someone else was paying and we did not have their card, so we decided to use grub hub. Our grub hub deliverer waited an HOUR for our food (arrived at 11:45 and texted me at 12:30 saying they were still waiting on food). We placed the order at 10:00am giving them plenty of time to have the order ready - we set it to be delivered by 12pm because our lunch hour is from 12-1. Our deliverer was great and kept me updated but Mama Mia’s took way longer than they should have. It will be a while if we decide to order again.

Second time visiting, both times food was good. However, both times service was lacking. Wait staff seems to be catering to larger parties while sort of ignoring smaller parties. I do not enjoy being judged on how many people I bring or if we are all wearing comfortable baggy clothes. Especially seeing as you never know who usually tips better than most people. So my previous rating from yesterday has declined.

My family has been going to Mama Mia’s for 3 year’s very often. I promise after last night we will never step foot in there again. He lost atleast 9 faithful customer’s.So they messed up our tale out pasta order and was told to go back the next day for a refund due to the fact that it was Friday night and pouring rain. So I went yesterday and he was so rude that even a customer said they would never revisit again. He refused to give me my refund even tho the pasta was never touched. The waitress which was a witness and there both nights ended up HAVING to do the refund from her own tips as he stormed off after yelling at her even tho she wrote the order down correctly and he’s the one who got it wrong. A man as disrespectful as he is should NEVER be in a position to deal with human beings. I am reporting him to the BBB tomorrow morning as well. He cannot keep treating people the way he does and this explains why he’s always hiring because everyone’s afraid of him but I am not so I will do something about it for everyone that has been publicly embarrassed by him. I am still in shock over my experience. I hope he learns his lesson ASAP!!!

As an Italian I found a lot of difference from real "Italian cuisine". However, I understand the adaptation and I must say that what I was able to try was good. The only criticism I can make is on the margherita pizza which lacked tomato and which should not have had any garlic or ricotta.

Driving from FL to VA and had to stop for some lunch. This restaurant had a stuffed pizza and we had never heard of it before. IT IS AMAZING! Wish all places offered something like this. Owner was very nice and would definitely go again if we were in the area.

This was a pleasant surprise..my wife and I enjoy Italian food but had stopped going after the Macaroni Grill in Raleigh shut down..we decided tonight to give Mama Mia a try and am glad we did..our food was excellent as was our waiter Logan..will definitely be back..
