Very quaint little Gelato shop located in the area shops across from the park. Staff was very nice and place looks great. Had the pink grapefruit sorbet and it was good. The deduct was for the selection as I really didn't see any Gelato and it looked to all be sorbet. I'm a European Gelato snob, so forgive me for the comparison. ‐ just to acknowledge the owners reply which I usually never do, I will take the ratio and give the full 4 stars. I like the Gelatos with all of the goodies inside so at first glance i felt compelled to go with sorbet, again forgive the comparison as I really did like my treat. Cheers!

Cute place! As long as I've lived here this was my first time stopping in: we came after dinner and there were a few other people there. Small seating area and a few flavors to choose from: we both got pistachio and were taken care of immediately and with a big smile from the woman at the counter! The gelato was incredible: big serving for cost and delicious: smooth and creamy, not icy or old tasting at all. Really clean pistachio flavor and not too sugary (I'm old now I like my desserts not too sugary.) Next time I'm trying berry or grapefruit!

Great gelato place right next to Hanes Park! Cisca, the owner, is one of the nicest and personable shop owners in town and loves to chat with her guests. Growing up in Winston, my family and I would always walk to the shop to get a sweet treat in the summer, and even with me growing up and moving away, Cisca still remembers me and we chat whenever I am back in town. Cannot recommend this place and its owner enough!!Kid-friendliness: Cisca is very friendly and her shop is well equipped for kids.

Really high quality. A good mix of dairy and vegan. Vegan flavors often taste and feel icy to me but this was so smooth and delicious.
Delicious gelato! I had the roasted almond, which was divine. Hubby had the basil lemon and loved it.

I've passed by this place a million times, but tonight was my first night going inside! It's just across from Hanes Park and would be a great snack after an evening stroll! The young man that was working was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. He asked what he could get for me, but he didn't offer any samples. I haven't had gelato post-covid but I'm not sure if samples were an option. If you've ever been to a Gelato shop, the ambiance of this place is exactly the same. One small table inside and one outside for customers to enjoy. There were about 8 Gelato and 2 sorbet flavors to choose from. I selected a small cup of the toasted almond. It was smooth and velvety, just as it should be.

Cafe Gelato is my fav spot in the neighborhood! We always bring our guests here. Amazing gelato, with lots of yummy rotating, seasonal flavors, all made with fresh ingredients! Our favorites are the pistachio and almond. We love coming in and chatting with the employees, especially the sweet owner! Service is always spot on! Sitting and watching people come in and out during the warmer months just gives you good vibes! There aren't many seating options, so just keep that in mind when visiting in the busy warm months!
