Not sure why but there is always a skeleton crew working late night. Parking lot full, bar top full, plenty of people wanting to spend money but there is literally no one to take orders. I waited 30mins to get a beer and I looked back in the kitchen and noticed there was 2 cooks running around with a bunch of orders to make. Everyone around me was complaining about how long everything was taking. Not sure why but the manager was sitting in the office during all this. This used to be the place to be late night in Winston but they have cut corners on so much that it has fallen off. If it takes 30mins to get a beer at midnight, i won't be able to do much driving til last call. I keep coming back to give them chance after chance but I'm getting to a point that I won't waste my time anymore.

We got there and hardly no one was there on a Friday night.. kinda concerning and we were sat down immediately the host was nice. We sat in the section of the restaurant where no one was sitting. There was a crowd at the bar though. We waited for 25 minutes for a waiter to come even ask us what we wanted to drink. The cooks were just walking around doing their own thing. The section of the bar had at least 2 waitresses and was attending other customers, We got up and left.

So this place is trash. Waited 30 minutes for appetizers that came out burned. Manager said they don't look burnt to her, so we had them removed. Of course right after we sent them back our food came out, which is why we told the manager not to remake the appetizers. Ordered a patty melt that wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese, the bread was barely toasted and the bacon was barely cooked. Sent it back, not going to eat trash. Unfortunately I'd have sent everything back, but others in the party decided they'd accept the other food that was brought. Do not ever eat here.

Well can't say much about the experience. Waited 8 minutes for a server and flagged some one down and said they would get our server. There is no telling how long we would have waited for help. Well I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was not sure what happened. He said the server may of been on break or out for a smoke. I fell like someone should of let me know what was going on. Had 10$ off coupon from a bad experience at the Raleigh location. Well this one is just as bad. We drove across the parking lot and went to TEXAS ROADHOUSE!! As soon as we were seated a waitress was asking us for our drink order and for appetizers. The Ale house was dead and Texas was hopping!! If you want service don't go to the Ale go somewhere else.

Traveling. First get there at 430, the hostess was looking at her iPad and we had to talk loudly to get her to know we were there. She informed us she was betting on the game. The floors have food and trash as if it was late in the evening. Husband got wings. They were overcooked and the flavor was horrible. The best part of the experience was the kind waiter Andre W. He seemed to be knowledgeable of the food and very kind.

BRANDY, the worker, was VERY rude and aggressive for no reason. I was standing waiting for assistance and it was very clear that I was waiting for assistance and she looks at me dead in my face and doesn’t greet or assist me so then I get the wonderful bar manager, Kayla and complained about how I was treated and how I was also waiting 25 minutes at the table and no one greeted me and then while I was having a good conversation with Kayla, this Brandy person comes over to say which I am appalled that an employee would even say this to a paying customer and these are her exact words “I was busy, that’s why I couldn’t help you” so if you’re so busy then you need to make it known to the customer that you are busy at the moment and they they will be assisted but instead she didn’t do this and proceeded to yell and go back and forth with me while I was there talking to the bar manager anyways, I wasn’t even talking to this Brandy person. So during the whole time, this Brandy person had animosity towards me for whatever reason…actually I do know the reason and im not going to go there but I do know that she may have some mental issues within herself that she needs to handle but this is the wrong job for her if little situations like this triggers her. But my mother wanted a kids meal as she doesn’t eat a lot and BRANDY said that my mother couldn’t order a kids meal but it’s interesting because KAYLA said that she could and disregarded what this brandy person said and allowed my mom to get a kids meal. But this entire experience is just confirmation for my family and I to never step foot back in this establishment. The bad reviews are accurate and I have told corporate about this and I hope they take action on this Brandy person, she doesn’t deserve to work at an establishment that is customer-facing.

My problem is that AJ the bartender added an 18% gratuity on me and my friend. Our other friend joined a little later, but as a server who works in fine dining, I don't understand why she added that to a total of 3 people. When asked, she said something along the lines of "That's weird, maybe it was the register". After looking at other tables checks, it was clear that it was only applied to our check. I feel that was really unprofessional as being a member of the service industry, and not only does she need to do better, but if you continue to pick and choose who you put gratuity to, that's the lowest tip you are aiming for when you could get better tips.
