Chopstix is a place that does some things really well while others have some room for real improvement. They also, when comparing other options within a 20 minute drive from my house, have the unfortunate burden of being only the third best restaurant of its kind in the area. I've eaten from here a few times now, always hoping for better results, but at this point I think they are what they've shown me to be. The food: the appetizers here are excellent. I love the crispy crab wontons, as they have a lot more filling than most places offer up. The sweet chili sauce they serve with some apps is absolutely delicious, too. Like to the point where I would consider eating it with a spoon. The grilled dumplings are really tasty, too. The problems are primarily with the entrees: I love a good, hefty plate of hibachi, but I've had it several times and there are always issues. The chicken is always overcooked. The carrots that come with it just...aren't great (and there are several similar restaurants that do some killer sweet carrots in this area). The fried rice was overcooked and kind of clumpy and mushy yesterday. And the shrimp sauce is, honestly, the blandest I've had, and I've had a lot of shrimp sauce. All in all, I don't think I'll be giving it another try, as this has been my consistent experience at this point and Shoto in Lexington isn't that much further of a drive. This place is okay, but not great.

Food is usually great. Today I ordered spicy tuna nachos to go. Got home and instead of the sticky rice, I got ginger??. Pretty pricy not to get it right. Disappointed.

The food was bland, and the appetizer felt microwaved. Sauce way to sweet all you tasted was sugar. The udon noodles were undercooked and tasted like they came from Walmart.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ranp for wheel chairs

The sushi was absolutely phenomenal, the Wasabi complimented the Philadelphia rolls amazingly, the spicy mustard on the black dragon tasted great, will be ordering

We had my birthday dinner here with my husband, granddaughter & brother.The service was attentive & spot on. Food came out fast & was delicious. I had the Crispy Crab Wontons, Rainbow Roll & the Naruto Roll. My husband had the Veggie Spring Rolls, Gumtree Roll & the Shrimp Tempura Roll. My granddaughter had Hibachi Chicken & Steak with broccoli & rice. My brother had onion soup, Scallop kebabs, mixed veggies & rice.All food was great & not much was left on anyone's plates!

Get ready for some not so hot food. The rice was barely warm and the carrots were chilled. The chicken was tough and dry. This use to be one of my favorite places to eat but lately it has been mediocre at best. Oh yeah don't forget about the misleading scam receipt. The receipt says "Discount of 3.95% if paid with cash" but when you get ready to pay NO DISCOUNT is given. They said the discount was already applied. It would only make sense to say 3.95% will be ADDED if card is used. Why mention a non existing DISCOUNT if the ACTUAL price on the receipt is the cash price? So Stupid!! See picture. Hope they consider fixing this misleading discount!!

People are nice and much of the food looks beautiful. However, I ordered the Teriyaki Steak and Chicken... And the sauce had what tasted like 2 cups a sugar poured into it. It would have killed someone with Diabetes. The Udin Noodles were undercooked.Not a bad place but not my first destination.
