Food was great, service was ok, ambiance wonderful! My brother took me and my husband out as a gift to us when we got married !

I'll be the first to admit that I've had both hit and miss experiences at Fratelli's. Sometimes the service has been superb, and sometimes the food has felt disappointing. This past visit was, without a doubt, the most top-tier visit I've had. I always enjoy going at Christmas because the decor is so festive and fun. But unfortunately sometimes they're busy and the service just isn't outstanding. On this visit, we had the server team of James and Dawn, and they truly made our experience. While the food was also the best meal I've had at Fratelli's, our servers made the experience. Thank you so much for outstanding service and a memorable evening from start to finish! Must haves on a visit to Fratelli's: Calamari. It's lemony and cooked perfectly. Always a winner. A cocktail. They have a large cocktail menu, but I personally love their cosmo. Brussels sprouts. The standout side. They're roasted with apples and bacon, perfectly soft and infinitely delicious. Worth the upcharge. Dessert. I can't pick between the Krispy Kreme bread pudding and the bananas foster. Get both. Thank me later. I got the NY strip on this visit and it was cooked to medium rare perfection. I did the add on of a crab cake. It was good, but not the best I'd ever had. I would try the shrimp next time! This was perfect for our girls night out, but it's great for dates, celebrations or special occasions!

Thursday nights is 1/2 price wine! However, don't be like me when I asked our waitress to confirm that and she said...yes. Then when we received the bill and I asked about it...oh, not that wine...only the wines marked! Ugh. And the lasagna was horribly burned!

I am leaving this restaurant a one star review because of the lack of accommodations and lack of accountability management at this restaurant failed to provide my family and I.It started off as a night celebrating my grandmothers 86th birthday. We had a party of 8, the manager (Chris) then separated our party of 8 to two separate sides of the restaurant. He (Chris) also taunted us when other family stopped by just to wish our grandmother a happy birthday. Chris stated he did not want people just standing around. (I’ve posted a picture of persons just standing around at the bar area behind people.) somehow this is acceptable.Lastly when we received our check for the night there was a gratuity fee added to the bill. How should there be at gratuity fee added to a party of 4 and the original party of 8 was split to separate sides of the room.Once speaking with manager Chris, he was not very apologetic and in so many words stated “that’s just the way we do things here”.I am so not pleased at the we way we were treated because all my family and I wanted to do was fellowship and celebrate my grandmother birthday.I will never be back to this restaurant and if you are a person of color I suggest that you never go here either.

DISAPPOINTED!! I came here to celebrate my birthday because I was told it’s a great place. My waiter was nice. The drink menu was missing a main page for me-the martinis. I had to ask my waiter if they no longer serve martinis. He said they do but will have to get me a menu that has that page. The waiter asked if I was celebrating a special occasion- I said yes, it’s my birthday. He said I will get a nice surprise for your birthday.Waiter came back later and asked was I ready to order. I said that I wasn’t sure, “do you have specials tonight”. He said I have to go write them down so I willBe right back. He came back with minimal descriptions of the specials- aged steak and grouper and he said another special. Again no description. So I ordered just the regular ribeye cooked medium with mashed potatoes.I asked what type of dressings they have for their salads- he said ranch, blue cheese and their house dressing. I asked do you have a vinegaret he said just oil and vinegar. Okay I said that I will take oil and vinegar. My salad was brought out and most of the lettuce was brown-hard to tell in the picture. Then my steak was brought immediately after that. I wasn’t even a 1/4 into my salad. The waiter asked if that was too soon but I said no. What am I suppose to say-yes. Take my food back and bring me out a fresher cooked steak when I get ready. So I just let it be.Then time to eat my steak. I asked for medium and it was well done (see in the picture). Waiter never asked me if everything was okay or how was my steak. This was a $45.00 steak wasted. Then came time for me to ask for a to go box.The waiter never asked if I was interested in a dessert nor did he ever bring me my special birthday surprise. I was really hoping for a nice meal. But I didn’t get it.

We were promptly seated, waitress and service was excellent. Salad was excellent that came with the meal. Husbands steak he said was the best he’s ever had. Only had one scoop of mashed potatoes and some grilled veggies left him a bit hungry. At 69.99 that’s quite a bit to be still hungry. I have some dietary restrictions and prefer grilled vegetables, seafood with no dressings. So I had to order grilled shrimp as an appetizer because I couldn’t eat the bread they brought. They charged 16.99 for the full meal of shrimp scampi for me to have just 6 shrimp. Then I ordered the salmon, but because of the sauce, refused the “meal” (but was charged full price for it) and got 2 sides which I was charged extra for as well. Atmosphere is nice but VERY pricey and not very helpful to those with dietary restrictions unless you’re willing to fork out extra money for extras u can’t have.Dietary restrictions: Very expensive to work around restrictions, wish they were more flexible with dinner combinations for those who physically can’t enjoy those saucy extras.

Good food, very large portions. The steakhouse bacon is very good along with their pasta and salads. My fiancé got a steak and said it was amazing.

The house salad and bread with dipping oil were fabulous! Steaks very tender no sear or taste Baked potato cold We sat outside, we did not have a reservation. The dirty dishes were being stacked behind us. I felt like them opening the outside was an after thought

What I wanted to mention about our experience is the service is excellent and the portions are large (take home size). Our water glasses were constantly filled and the staff is very attentive. There are meals at varying price points so though it is a more upscale dining experience the average person can dine here. We celebrated a birthday and really felt pampered by the waitstaff.Parking: Safe, free parking lot off street, unlike restaurants downtown Winston Salem this restaurant has a dedicated parking lot.

I was with my Brother and two other friends passing through to Myrtle Beach. We had a wonderful experience last night. Four different dinners. Spaghetti with meat sauce, Chicken Marsala, Cowboy Ribeye, and New York Strip Steak. All dinners were cooked to perfection. The House Salad is the Best. Hot rolls with olive oil dipping sauce. We received the finest service from our waitress and waiter. I Highly recommend this Restaurant to all visitors and guests.

I made a reservation at the beginning of February for the end of the month on a Sunday night at 6:30pm for 2 people. There was a good crowd when we arrived, but not super crowded. We arrived 10 minutes early and they sat us right down at our table. For our appetizer, we ordered the steakhouse bacon ($13.09). It was interesting. Not terrible, but a high price for 1 piece of bacon. The Boursin cheese that came with it was very good. The free bread and bread dipping oil was a nice addition. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.Only I ordered a drink and none of the cocktails on their menu interested me so I ordered a dirty Shirley with house vodka ($9.50). It tasted good. For dinner, my husband and I ordered the same exact thing. 7oz Filet Mignon with a side of onion and Parmesan hash browns ($43.99/person). We switched out the fratellis salad with the Caesar salad ($3.49 upgrade/person). We both ordered our steak medium. My steak was more medium rare and my husband's was medium so we ended up switching steaks. The steak was enjoyable, but not enough for me to make a special trip back here for it. The hash browns tasted fine, but we needed to add salt and pepper. For dessert we ordered bread pudding ($7.99). That was super yummy and a great way to end our meal. I also felt the price was reasonable.I gave this place a 4 because of the obvious difference in temperature of the steaks and the fact they aren't as transparent about their pricing. I do think the flavors could have been a little better as well.I will say that we had a great waiter and I appreciated that she never tried to get me to upgrade anything to spend more money. She did well with keeping up with filling my husband's water bc he drinks a lot. Overall, not a bad experience and we were thankful that we had a gift card bc our total before tip and our gift card was $134.33.
