Food was Great! The Lady that helped me (possibly the owner) was nice as could be. Food came out quick and hot. Plenty of sauces to choose from. Exceptionally clean! Food portions were great for the cost. Parking is a bit limited, but it's worth a a few extra steps.

I’ve heard good things about this place but calling it a smokehouse is disappointing to me. The brisket and pulled pork were good but no smoke flavor at all. The ribs tasted like they were baked? The mac and cheese wasn’t very good either. These service was outstanding though.

First time here - Was charged for upgrades I did not ask for. Staff was very noisy (loud talking and laughing) while we were eating.Food was ok, a lot of fat in the brisket, and the mac n cheese was not that good. Upgraded? That's a joke.VERY CHEAP PLATES couldn't pick them up or food would slide off. I've seen better eating utensils at a homeless shelter I volunteer at.Over $33 for lunch? Better off spending less at the high-end Village Tavern, or anywhere for that matter. Price was ridiculousParking: Only a couple of spaces in front, else you walk from lot (it was raining the day we did this), which is not good.

I feel like I lost so many fantastic experiences because I've lived in Winston-Salem 24yrs and only found this place, by chance, today. From the cashier Susan to the Owner/Managers, Sam and Susan, who are visible working alongside their staff, every moment delightful. We couldn't make up our minds and they were patient and always checking to make sure we are fine. Has lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. I hope to come here more often, will find a reason to be on this side of town. Sorry I missed ten years of fran-freaking-tastic food.

We did the three sliders. We had pulled pork, brisket and the chicken salad. we had collared greens, buttery, potatoes and the chili sliders were delicious. I’m picky on the mayo, so but it was very good collard greens were good. The buttery potatoes were a little different. They put some type of Italian dressing in it that was all right, but the chili was out of this world. A lot of chili and it’s fantastic. My husband says banging. I’ll see he tried the jalapeño barbecue sauce and I tasted it. It was very very very good. We are definitely going to be coming back. Thank you for everything.

This was the best take out we’ve had ever! The food is delicious, no fat in the shredded meat, quality ingredients and flavor to rival homemade meals at your grandmother’s house. And the banana pudding is to die for. This is now our favorite Bbq restaurant.

We love to promote small family owned restaurants and this place is just darling! The food is great, the staff are so nice and recognized us after going twice, and they have a punch card that's a life saver. I highly recommend going if you want some quick comfort food.

Visited this place with my daughter on 2/10! The food was awesome, but the customer service and hospitality was amazing! We really enjoyed the ribs and selection of sauces! Next time we’re in WS, we’ll definitely stop here again!

This is my favorite BBQ place in Winston Salem. Everything is delicious. They have a lot of different sauces for every style, but their flavor is so good you don't need it.Vegetarian options: I would say there are quite a few veggie options if you make smart decisions.Dietary restrictions: They seem to be very accommodating.Parking: Tons of spots, wide open free parking lotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Accommodating

This place is more or less a lack luster low budget bbq place with high prices. The brisket was like pot roast. The hush puppies were half cooked and had corn in them. The customer service is nothing to brag about. Save your money and don't waste your time here.

I’ve eaten their brisket before at catered events so I wanted to try it in the restaurant this time. We arrived for lunch right after it opened. I ordered two brisket platters with the sides. At every other BBQ place I frequent I can easily eat a couple cuts of the brisket without any sauce because it’s nice and moist. Unfortunately this brisket was super dry and stringy right from the start. So disappointing. We had to douse it in sauce to make it edible. They never asked whether I wanted lean or fatty or combination so we definitely got lean but again this was the driest brisket I’ve ever had. I might give it one more try ordering a combination fatty and lean so I’ll report back afterwards.

I was there yesterday and I ordered split decision platter.Turkey and brisket as I've done in the past, however this time the brisket was more fat and kinda burnt ou and the turkey was hard around the edges.. Again, not the norm, but I was disappointed. I expected meat like before.
