Maybe my experience was so bad because they were close to closing but the food was very dry and I basically paid almost $50 for two plate of rice and peas…. My boyfriend watched them MICROWAVE our food, I had high hope for this place but I was very disappointed in the end.

The owner of the truck was so awesome. Such a nice guy! The food is insane! So good the spices are amazing and the meat is so tender and juicy. I got oxtail for my boyfriend and he nearly started crying. 10/10 will be back we love Island Vibez!

! Let me start off by saying, this is my favorite Jamaican food establishment to frequent! The staff are always so personable and friendly. I love the rice and peas and have been more than satisfied with any meat that I’ve ever chosen to go with it! They sell you REAL mac and cheese, not kraft like some other places. It’s always a pleasure to visit!

First off the Food was NOT real authentic Jamaican food the jerk chicken was just some regular grilled chicken wings with jerk sauce that’s NOT real jerk chicken rice and peas was watery and coco bread was hard. Won’t be coming back. They charged me for the wrong meal so it took a an total HOUR to get my food

It was delicious!!! Im from NY and it was exactly as I remember. I had Jerk chicken, peas and rice cabbage. I also got a beef patty and coco bread and plantains. The portions were big and I have lunch for tmw!!! Alittle pricey but worth every penny... Its a food truck in shell Gas station parking lot on Hanes mall road clise to Havertys. Go check it out!!!!
