I cannot say enough about the phenomenal drinks made by Jordan!! I was in town for work and looking for a great cocktail and relaxing atmosphere. Joyners did not miss. Plenty of great conversation melted with amazing drinks. I told Jordan the flavors and liquors I enjoyed and she was perfection!! If you love bourbon try the paper plane… but WOW WOW WOW to her signature drink Moon Child. By far the best bartender I’ve ran across in my recent years of travel! She deserves her flowers ?… what an experience. Thank you Joyners!

My only gripe is that there’s a 4% operations fee and an automatic 20% gratuity added. Just be aware of this! It’s my fault for not looking at my receipts until the next day, but who expects automatic gratuity to be added when ordering a couple drinks at the bar. I gave additional tips because I did not notice this at the time of purchase. The dj was good though and I enjoyed my night, but the automatic gratuity is off putting.

10 out of 10 drinks and bar snacks! The espresso martini here is the best I've had! The humus spread is supper good, too! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a nice atmosphere with stellar drinks.

The ambience is the perfect neighborhood bar from the 30s & 40s. A place to relax in a leather easy chair amongst floor to ceiling bookshelves and a quiet nook to sip a good drink and unwind after a stressful day or week. The service is amiable and easy. Peaceful spot to unwind and enjoy good conversation surrounded by vintage comfort.

If you are not white, do not go to this bar! I witnessed 4 Wake Forest students from China get treated horribly at this bar, including physical assault with injury (one student grabbed by the neck and partially lifted by the neck) and a second student punched with a closed fist by the bartender... In the face. These were small, thin people who complained because they were overcharged and then got manhandled and beaten. Police were called and the manager and staff suddenly couldn't get the video system to work (yeah, right).

Can’t believe what could happened at this bar. They treated their guest violently and I saw the blood. Used to love this place but never come back ever!!!

I had the most horrible experience. A woman was floored and dragged across the floor of the bar by the bartender, and she was thrown out of bar alongside her companions. The bartender was racist and violent, and the cocktails were mediocre at best.

This place is AWFUL !!DON’T GO!! The bartender HITS AND DRAG WOMAN furiously, they are unable to control their emotions and definitely have VIOLENT TENDENCY !!!!!There are witnesses too and trying to protect the woman but also gets hurts…. I would NEVER go this place again for my safety!!!

We were in the top part for a private party. Very cool location. Downstairs has a nice middle bar with couches along the windows. Fun place.
