I met a friend here for a lunch and the food was very good. The portions were also big enough that I actually got two meals out of it.

I have been coming here a few times a month for over a year and it is really good every time! Good quality and good pricing. I love the teriyaki chicken bowl with carrots and zucchini. It’s my favorite hibachi in Winston.

Owned by good people. Husband and wife, aunt, and children. Food is good and the service is quick as hell!

Place was dirty. Dined in and was served hot soup and hot egg roll in syrofoam plates too thin to sustain that kind of heat. Sushi was sub par and took forever even as place was not busy at all.... now I know why.

My son and I enjoy the super crunchy room and their triple season teriyaki rice meal. We enjoy the kind service and the hot food. The workers are nice and polite. It feels like getting with a distance cousin youblov3 and hasn't seen in awhile. One of our top places for sushi!

I placed a take out order. Almost 40$ waited and waited. Finally asking the second time about my order. They still had not started it 10 mins after the time it should have been ready. I have a sick child who needed some steak which is all he wanted to eat. Really bad customer service. It is a shame because I really like this restaurant and it’s a treat for me and my 5 year old when we go there. I advise not to expect timely service if you are picking up.

I walked into the restaurant to place a to go order on a Saturday at 6 pm. Not a soul was to be found. The tables were empty, not a sound except for my footsteps and two "are you open"? Several things of note were a strong fishy odor, and the cooking area, which is exposed to the dining area, was very messy. Finally, a woman comes out from somewhere behind the kitchen and just looks at me. All I can say after that experience is I won't be spending any money there.

Insanely slow. Dine in is served/cooked last. Or maybe just forgotten. Small portions. Over salted. Over priced for the 20 minute wait. The homeless hanging out on the outside tables doesn’t help.

They never give enough meat at all but fill the plate with vegetables

Kotta is pinned at the end of a strip mall, just down the way from retailers like Five Below and Target. Sometimes these out of the way spots are hidden gems, but Kotta just doesn't feel that way for me. The lunch special I ordered consisted of hibachi steak, mixed veg, fried rice, sweet carrots, and a fountain drink. At $13 plus tax, it doesn't feel like much of a special in terms of cost.Prep time didn't take long, and the food arrived warm, but the size of the servings wasn't very substantial in comparison to the price. The food wasn't bad, but wasn't especially remarkable either. The mixed vegetables were limited to zucchini, onions, and maybe three small flowers of broccoli. No mushrooms? :(There are several Asian restaurants in town, including more than a few that offer good food as well as solid value. Kotta just doesn't compete with them. [In other words, go to Kimono instead.]
