Enjoyed a tasty Sunday brunch at Milner's. This was my first time visiting, but it was a good experience. For brunch they bud a lot to offer, maybe too much. They had their brunch menu, a specials menu and their standard menu, so plenty to pick from. Staff was friendly, but short staffed for sure. We sat at a table in the bar area and the bartender was taking care of the entire space. Food came out quickly, and everyone really enjoyed their meals! I opted for the meatloaf and it was good, would definitely recommend! Overall, it was a great meal, but a bit on the pricey side. I enjoyed it and would be back again gift a special occassion

We came here with my family and my parents a couple of weeks ago. They wanted to treat us to a nice meal, and since we live ~20 minutes away, Milner's is not usually what we think of. Our experience was really good. The atmosphere was a little different than I expected (I thought it would be more intimate) and our server was good but not great. I think I come to a place like this and expect excellence, and that wasn't quite our experience. I ordered the grilled angus meatloaf and it was cook perfectly and the presentation was very good. I thought it tasted very good as well (the whipped potato was my favorite part and I liked the Texas toast), though maybe not something I'd remember as an excellent meal. Overall, it was a good experience and we would come back.

Very friendly staff, they did a great job seating us quickly on a busy Easter Sunday. The brunch was excellent. Really enjoyed my frittata on a hash brown casserole. They also offered lunch and dinner options, so everyone had their pick. A nice space with colorful, vibrant paintings on the wall.

Uncle Michael took us here and told us all about how amazing this place is and boy was he right. This was an all around fantastic experience. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meals to the last bite. The steaks were perfect, the salmon was fresh, the vegetables and appetizers were delicious. The service was great too.

Milners beats all central/south-west, high end restaurants in Winston. Their food tastes great, is relatable (Roosters), consistent (Bleu) and presented well. The desert options are many (Village & Bleu), including seasonal offerings, and are overall top tier. Importantly, Milners has not resorted to pre-packaged (Firebirds) food offerings. Lastly, the service is always friendly and professional.

Absolutely the best lamb I've ever had! The entire entrée was delicious and a true work of art. It was pricey, but a really nice portion. I highly recommend it!

I haven't written a review in years, but my dinner here last night was so good that I just had to. We had the NC Parmesan crusted trout with Boursin cheese grits and succotash as well as the fried green tomatoes. Those were both excellent, but the star of the show was the shrimp and scallops with gnocchi, French beans, and tomatoes. I was blown away by this dish. Every single item in it was cooked to perfection. I have never had scallops with such perfect texture - perfectly seared on the outside, soft on the inside. The shrimp was tender and delicious. The French beans were still crunchy, a rarity in these dishes. We also had the white chocolate almond bread pudding, which was delicious as well. The service was great - the restaurant was packed at 7pm on a Friday, but we had our entire meal from sitting down to getting the check in one hour. We will definitely be back!

Visitng Winston-Salem for our daughters Law graduation and we wanted a wonderful dining experience after. We were so fortunate to find this gem! It was such a fabulous experience and the staff was so accommodating when we arrived. Cuisine was delicious ? I did however have to laugh when my daughter was carded and our waitress qiuzzed her on her birthdate because she had a Florida license and looks like she is in high school. I told her she gets it from her mama ?

Milners is consistent and really puts together a nice "American southern" plate of food. They are known for their pot roast, fried chicken, Moravian cookie crusted fish and their fried green tomatoes. On this trip we got the bread service (soft yeast rolls served warm), shrimp and scallops and the crab cakes. The crab cakes were thick and mostly crab with very little filler which was nice. Would've liked a bit more flavor but overall pretty good. Sides of succotash and spinach were flavorful and went well with the crab. The scallop and shrimp dish was really delicious, and the scallops were cooked perfectly with a beautiful sear. We asked to omit the gnocchi for a lighter dish and were not allowed to sub anything else (like a side) but the dish was lovely without it. Too full for dessert on this trip but we like to get the white chocolate almond bread pudding when we have room. Would love to see them refresh some of the furnishings as they are getting well worn but overall it's always a nice experience with friendly and attentive service which keeps it in my regular rotation.

The food was awesome. Everyone in our party got something different. Trout, fried chicken, salmon patties and pot roast. We even got a piece of the coconut cake. We all thought it was a bit over priced but what isn't these days. Will definitely go back again.
