We have been to Mission Pizza many times and for good reason, it is amazing!First, when you walk in you’re greeted by an incredible ambiance of dim lighting and the smell of the wood fired pizza oven.Second, the food is some of the best you will find In triad! Most people will say this is just pizza but the attention to detail is what you would expect in a Michelin Star restaurant in a major city.We usually opt for the Pizzakase because it is always something new and very creative, I recommend everyone try it!

Waited 3.5 hours on the waitlist checking in multiple times with the host. The host never text or messaged our group and locked the front door. Worst service in the triad. Choose any place but here unless you want to waste your weekend.

Very average restaurant. Over inflated reputation. Super expensive for what you get. They broke the south rule. They don't have iced tea. Dark. Depressing. Skip it. Plus...parking headaches. Go to the Indian restaurant ....more bang for your buck. Also don't be rude snarky or disrespectful in response. We ae entitled to our opinion without your commentary or influence. After reading your rude and defensive jerky responses to your customers that spent their hard earned money I will recommend no one ever go here to everyone I speak to.

Dark. Depressing. Nothing amazing. Owners are super super rude. Read their responses to all the reviews. Park is hard to come by and not worth the wait Wait is outside and cold Did I say dark and depressing? Don't waste your money.

Been a loyal patron of mission pizza for years. Tonight I tried to go around 8pm with a group of 5. Despite a nearly empty restaurant, they shared they did not have a table for 5. We asked if we could push two small tables together, denied. Asked if we could add a barstool to a high top 4-seater, denied. Asked if we could sit at the 5 empty barstools, denied. The hostess repeatedly using “understaffed” as an excuse. We expressed how unreasonable this was (how many WS families eat here as a family of 5?) and the hostess went to “check with the kitchen”. Again, they adamantly refused to seat us. Apparently our only option was to seat as a party of 3, and then later seated the remaining 2? Seems to me like the kitchen is still making 2 pizzas…Anyhow, we took our neapolitan pizza craving to Cugino Forno. The pizza was great and the service was accommodating. Mission pizza lost a few customers tonight, which is deeply disappointing as previously huge fans of Mission.

My husband and I went for the pizzakase experience. We’re always looking for new restaurants and things to experience and this really stood out as a fun way to try a new to us restaurant. It was incredible. Every person there (especially our wonderful server Bernadette) was so nice to talk to and the service was impeccable. The restaurant and kitchen were beautiful and so clean! We got a TON of food and some really delicious dishes during our meal. Each dish was so different from the last and I was STUFFED by the last leg of our meal. The evening wrapped up with a delightful tiramisu. I can’t wait to go back for regular dining and I’m already planning on when we want to do pizzakase again! Thank you to the whole team for such a welcoming and food focused environment. The work and attention to detail shines through and we will absolutely be returning soon.

We had the prix fixe menu so didn't know what we would get. Every dish we had was excellent, top to bottom. Service is lacking. This is kind of crazy but the person checking people in at the front counter had really bad body odor. Tough way to start a meal. Our waitress was both rude and confused. Seemed annoyed we were there. Even though a set menu had a hard time getting the food out in the right order and remembering what we had been served. Would try to take plates away while still eating. Really trying to turn the table. Wine by the glass seemed to be like 4 ounces. Never seen that before. We still enjoyed as the food really is excellent.

This was some of the best pizza of my life, and I lived in NYC for 5 years. For me, it’s neck and neck with Una Pizza Napoletana in New York as best of that style in the country! Quality ingredients, perfect crust, super hot oven, and a pizza maker who cares about doing it right. The “pizzakase” was super creative and included one with trout roe, a fried pizza with lemon and ricotta, and a folded over pizza with horseradish and prosciutto, as well as other surprises along the way. Will definitely be back!

Let me begin with the fact I’ve never had the opportunity to eat at Mission Pizza due to the fact that:1. They are rarely open for business …2. They would not allow me to place a to-go order …3. When I finally catch them open there is a 30 minute for 1 singular person to sit at the bar/counter…I’ve never heard of nor experienced anything like this…mind blown?!

It had been a while since my last visit but Went for my wife’s birthday on Saturday and as usual, the food was stellar. Did miss the Margherita pizza and the Nduja Mac and Cheese but it’s been a while since we had been. It makes sense that the menu is going to change. Either way, it was an awesome experience. Peyton doesn’t miss. I had the sausage and fennel cream pizza and was blown away. We invited friends and it was their first time going and they were believers after the first bite. Thanks Peyton and Mission Pizza for making that special day a great one!

Good spot, the pizza was very delicious. Service was great however it was a little too loud to have a conversation without having to shout. Other than that, good spot. Will definitely get food from here again.
