Love the food. It was close to closing so customer service was a little bit off but food is always on point! The Jezebel is my favorite ?

Fresh ingredients, friendly server. Went for lunch and ordered the kafta platter. $15 for hummus, fresh pita, a small salad, and the kafta platter itself. Food was on the table in no time! Delicious. Will definitely go back.

Only one server for a relatively full house when I visited, but she still did a great job! Only a moderate delay in receiving our food.

The food was pretty good, but it was Mediterranean style food that was trying to be fancy. I wouldn't call it authentic, just a themed food if that makes sense. On top of that, it was order at the counter and they bring you the food. So everything was kind of expensive, especially for having to get your own drinks and silverware. Can't say it was bad, but can't say that I would return.

Menu choices are excellent and the food is always fresh. If you are in a hurry, call ahead because lines can get long, but well worth it!

I was looking forward to eating here and have been for quite some time. There was only a few tables occupied and therefore I wasn't concerned that service with only one waitress would be an issue. Unfortunately the service was awful. After a long wait, she finally brought our food out and forgot about mine, only brought my side dish. After it was brought to her attention she apologized and still didn't bring me anything. Everyone at the table had finished their food, so I got up and told her not to worry about mine. When I paid my tab for our beverages and my wife's meal, she said she accidentally gave my food to another table. I understand accidents happen, people make mistakes, but failing to fix the problems is a bigger issue. I'll never go back.

Mooney's is one of the most slept-on places in Winston-Salem. Their Falafel is SO GOOD. My favorite: the Traditional Falafel Pita paired with the delicious fried cauliflower. The hummus and pita is excellent and so is the baba ganoush. If I'm not ordering the TFP you'll see me eating the Saint Francis of Assisi; deliciously cooked tempeh on a bed of rice with peas and sautéed onions. Pro Tip: don't miss out on Falafel Tuesdays ! Every Tuesday you get $3 off on anything that has falafel in it for a little extra bang-for-your-buck!!

Best Mediterranean food in Winston, and such a charming place to sit and eat as well. Especially if the weather is nice and you can enjoy the patio area . I always bring people who aren't from Winston to Mooney's first, it's a great way to introduce people to the city.

What a fabulous place to grab lunch! With a well-organized menu and lots of different options for everyone from meat lovers to vegans, this is the kind of cafe you can take a whole group of people with vastly different dietary preferences and find something for everyone.

Mooney's is my go-to in downtown Winston. Lots of veggie and vegan options! It's casual dining and has sidewalk seating. Can't go wrong with a mezza's plate or pita! The staff is always friendly and very helpful.

Great food! I don’t think I’ve ever had a less-than-stellar experience here. Sometimes wait times can be long, but that’s what happens when you follow the crowd.

The falafel is very good. The rest of the food we had was just ok. The shawarma tasted like normal beef tips, and the kafta tasted like a frozen meatball from the grocery store. However the falafel is a buck a piece. That's worth it.
