Really missing Sal these days. Praying he continues to recover. This was one of the best places to get Mexican food. I literally went 3-5 days a week when I worked in Winston full time.

UPDATE HOURS! closed on a Saturday, hours read as open.

I love this place, but I can never figure out when they are open anymore. The hours seem inconsistent and they don’t match what’s listed here on Google. Would love to give them my money, but it seems like they’re only open for 2-3 hours every other day.

Senor Bravos is my go-to spot for amazing tacos. I would marry the Tacos al Pastor and then cheat on them with the Fish Tacos. Sal Bravo and his whole family are amazing hosts and run a beautiful, cheerful restaurant. They go above and beyond to accommodate groups (in pre-COVID times), even closing the restaurant for a private event and setting up a buffet! This week, Senor Bravos helped a Winston-Salem group provide a meal for City With Dwellings, boxing up 55 entrees in to-go boxes and delivering it to the shelter. They were so easy to work with and a joy to know. They are a Winston-Salem treasure, and I love everything about the restaurant and the Bravo family.

A fav spot for tasty mexican food. Cool location to meet with coworkers. I will probably become a regular. The place has a great feel to it. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I loved.

I was highly disappointed with the service & food. The chips were stale, waiter was rude & rushed is when taking our order. The restaurant was fairly empty at 2;00 on a Saturday afternoon but the speed of the service was slow. The Bravo margarita was drinkable but not the quality I expected from an "authentic" Mexican restaurant. Overall I can't say I recommend this place nor will I return. The decor was festive and bright, only wish we the service and food matched it.

This little Mexican themed joint is stripped down to the bare essentials for dining, preparation, and menu but the owner knows what he wants to achieve and does a good job with it! Lunch for two with drinks was $16: good fish tacos for my friend and an excellent al pastor pork burrito with all the trimmings for me. The place has cute decor, a very convenient location to the downtown arts district and definitely gets two thumbs up. The only shortcoming to my visit was my interaction with the owner, who fancies himself something of a wit and can be a bit unintentionally insulting. Que Sera...

We were in Winston for alittle Saturday evening adventure and some shopping. We had never been to downtown (even though I'm a life-long NC resident), and were looking for a quick bite and one of the stores recommended this restaurant, as it was close by and a quick place to get some dinner. We were pleased with the great service and the food was good also. We plan to go back and explore downtown more soon and plan to visit this restaurant again.

Best tacos in Winston and this Gringo loves that spicy spicy sauce

Very dirty place. Food was decent, portion was huge, but overall cleanliness made me wonder if I would get e-coli!

Best place to have Mex style lunch. Must try their Mex style tacos with pork or beef or chicken. The hot source is EXCELLENT!

Courteous and kind. They have delicious food and great beer to match. At their bigger location they have the biggest selection of Mexico beers you will find in Winston. A lovely place very time.
