I live near by and havent been there in a couple of years since it has reduced hours.....I really liked the smoked sausage.... I'll plan on going now when open....glad I remembered to check online for hours etc

I had the worst soul food today. They should be shut down... I see why they are open 2 days a week. They gave me red cup for my Togo order. No lid or straw...The chicken was tough and oxtail were bland and the macaroni and cheese was even worse. I can't believe I paid $48 for this. I pray God will help them do better and be better.

Went Today, 7-6-2023. The food was straight garbage. Place was dirty, cook didn't know where anything was. Food was terrible, potatoe salad had no taste, macncheesewas trash. Cook working with food and thecash register. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP!!

I was looking for somewhere local to grab lunch to go and sell this place on Google maps. Decided to check it out and was pleasantly surprised. The building was a very small common non-descript building out in the country kind of away from the city. The whole staff it seemed consisted of one married couple with the wife up front and the husband running the kitchen. I ordered the pork chops with mashed potatoes and pinto beans and cornbread. When they handed me my food she said my husband thought you should have some collard greens to go with it for no charge. The food was really, really exceptional. The pork chops were amazing and everything else was just super good. If you're looking for some really nice soul food, and really friendly people, I definitely suggest you check this out. Do what

This place has lost its space in the world of soul! The food is horrible and the guy who cooks gets an attitude with every kind of communication directed towards him! I finished my tea and the cup smelled like I had some gold fish in it!! I would starve before I ever think about going back to this place!!!

We t on a Sunday afternoon, had the ribs, pork chop, Mac and cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes, okra and sweet potato as well as the chicken. The ribs were very tender and Everything was hot out of the kitchen, very well seasoned and a nice homey feel to the food. Portions were very good, I paid $40 and still had enough left over for dinner and my partner also had lunch with me too. The service was great will definitely be coming back here and definitely recommend trying it out.
Me and my partner was very hungry since we was moving yesterday and wanted some soul food. Well we came across this place which was 5 mins from where we used to live and decided to give them a try. Now Rica was amazing over the phone and in person. Food was ready within 15 mins like she told us over the phone. We both got chicken, Mac n cheese, cabbage, cornbread and meatloaf. We was both disappointed unfortunately at the way it was tasting. There was no seasoning and our cabbage was mushy with hardly no flavor. The chicken was not done all the way through on two of the pieces. Cornbread was not sweet nor had a butter flavor. The meatloaf was OK but that sauce needs to Belong on bbq and not meatloaf. Mac n Cheese we both ate all of it. It was pretty good. Tbh if I didn't pack up my groceries I would've cooked because sorry yall but we cook better than this at home in our own kitchen. Not a totally bad place but that'll be our first and last visit.

I stopped here on a whim. I ate some of it but definitely not all of it. The macnchz was white and fluffy. Which was odd but tasted alright. The ribs I'm still looking for.I felt like I was at a family reunion and I just wasn't used to Aunt VaLindas cooking. The people were very friendly.Eat local....
