Never had a problem at this location until recently. Placed an online order, picked it up, returned home to find out my bread was hard as a rock. Contacted the "manager" Juan, who tried to explain it away due to the bread being toasted, like that was a valid reason for my sandwich to be like a baseball bat. The audacity of this kid. Was told to return to the store with my food and it would be remade, but who has time to make multiple trips for something that should've been quality check prior to it ever being handed to me? Thanks for my last experience at Subway Juan, you single handedly did this. Y'all really aren't that great for me to waste my hard earned money on when there are other sandwich places that are much better and actually take care of their customers.

The published store hours of this restaurant are meaningless. I checked their store hours and their published hours for last night said open until 9pm. So I made a choice to leave my house and drive to this location and pulled in at 8:40pm. I see the lights are off already and I find an employee standing in the doorway already turning away another customer telling them they need time to clean up and leave by 9pm. There was at least one other employee inside so they weren't understaffed. They obviously do not understand the difference between store hours and working hours. When I just called the manager to express my displeasure with this wasting my time because they weren't opened as published, he gave me excuses that it says on the door, which cannot be seen on the internet, hours may vary and then he insults me by saying I'm wasting his time with my call. Obviously his time is far more important than his customer's time. I won't waste any more of my time ever again here. DO NOT give this location your business.

My boyfriend and I stopped at the Subway on Jonestown Rd because we were in a hurry and wanted to eat dinner. It was 5:40 pm when we walked in. We were informed by one of the line employees that the manager said not to serve us because they were trying to clean up and be out by 6:00. They had plenty of time to make 2 subs before 6:00. This was very unprofessional. The sign on the door said they close at 6:00, not that they were supposed to leave at 6:00! Lost 2 customers today.

Now that Subway is slicing their meats and cheese I wanted to try them out. For years, Subway was a go to place for me for subs, especially Italian and Veggie. But the sandwiches became less flavorful, and the bread was always only so-so, and new options were becoming plentiful and were serving fresher ingredients and much better bread - lead by Jersey Mike's and a host of locals like Vinnie's, Villa Grill, TJ's, Alex's, Lox Stock in Greensboro, and more.This sandwich was better than I had tasted here before - the toasted Italian sub roll was much better. But the meats still are just not of the same quality as others are offering, many using Boar's Head products. The ham in particular was off, having that discoloration on the edge seen too often at sandwich shops. The oil and vinegar was rather weak.

The best Subway I've been to in a very long time. We visited on the evening of 9/7/23 and the staff working were very pleasant and the food was great. The restaurant was clean and the men's restroom is possibly the cleanest public restroom I've ever seen! Great job, Subway!

Our favorite Winston Subway. We pass another Subway otw to this restaurant. We consistently have a great experience here. Super clean restaurant, ingredients always fresh and looking great, and friendly smiles to greet us. Bonus: they’re fast! Thank you ladies for being so awesome!!

I usually avoid Subways due to poor attitude and slow service due to constant understaffing but I was pleasantly surprised to find they where fully staffed and even tho there was a line they managed to get it moving quickly with excellent service. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Fantastic staff!
