Great service, great food! We love the pasta that they make fresh in house!Never had any issues with food or service here!

They were out of lasagna and had no meat sauce. Our reservation was early so I don't know why the shortage. Our meatballs and manicotti were good. I asked for extra marinara and it came with a very small amount. I just ate as it was and it was good not great. My wife said meatballs were awesome.

We had a reservation. After we were seated with menus obvious in front of us on the table, no one approached our table for 20 minutes. Then a young lady stopped by and said “how is everything?”, which seemed odd since we had no drinks or food. We told her that no one had come to wait on us. She said ok and walked off and we didn't see her again. After 5 more minutes no one came to our table so we got up and left. As we were walking out, the man at the hostess stand called out “thanks for coming, have a good night”. We told him that no one ever came to wait on us so we didn't get any food. He didn't offer anything to make it right. As we looked around the restaurant we saw people who were obviously finished eating, waiting for their checks but there was no staff walking around the restaurant. We definitely can't recommend this restaurant.

Well the service is not that great. The restaurant states items that is not included with the meal but the menu states included with the meal. Was told that it states included because can't afford to change the menus. The food was bland for one item and salty on another. This was our third time trying the restaurant and the 3rd time was not the charm. We were hoping to support a local restaurant but it is not meant to be.

I write this review to let the owners know we have enjoyed the restaurant for years, and will miss them as they close down. We hope the restaurant that takes the space will be as good as Tre Nonne has been for years.

Our first visit here we had a great time. This visit left us not wanting to go back. Sauce was bland. They were out of the beers I wanted as well as iced tea. Menu states a salad comes with the meal but it no longer does. They need new menus or a bottle of white out to fix the current ones. Overall disappointing.

Authentic - this word that people repeatedly use in the reviews - I don't think they understand the meaning of the word OR they've never had authentic Italian to compare. Seriously, visit any region in Italy - you will not find this bland, boring, Chef Boyardee palate level food and consistency. The sauces are bland and watery and the atmosphere is very cheap. However, the staff was very sweet and accommodating. My rating would have been much higher if the restaurant wasn't touted as authentic Italian. Going in expecting homemade pasta and sauces and receiving what I ordered were completely disconnected. Again, lovely people there, but NOT authentic Italian cuisine.

We visited Winston-Salem and looking for an Italian restaurant for dinner. This place is amazing. If we lived local, we'd be coming here all the time the homemade pasta was spectacular and the service was excellent highly recommend.

Decided to give Tre a try since I am new in town. Restaurant presented well, a few empty tables upon arrival and leaving. Staff coverage seemed adequate. How about yummy bread & drink upon arrival (maybe next time, one fried garlic thing was good for two swallows), Bolognese sauce seemed it was missing something (tasted like jar) , maybe just my critical taste. No calamari (boo), Chicken ricotta ravioli was fair. I love any type of good bread & sauce to dip before my meal and during, not after (won't find it here). Why would fresh pasta (linguini) have dry, chewy clumped edges? If all else fails cast a great waitress (work in progress) at a mediocre meal and the that might add a star or two. I like when wait staff visits the table asking if there is anything else the needed (room for growth here). Will visit again next year and look forward to a better experience unless I find my goto sooner.

If you love good, fresh Italian food, you must visit Tre Nonne when in Winston-Salem. The location is a little out of the way but not far off major roads. It's a small restaurant so you should make a reservation. The pasta and sauces are made in-house and everything we've had from manicotti to shrimp scampi has been delicious. They have a bar and a very nice wine list. Don't miss it!

First time and likely last. Our table was told they were out of salad. This was included with the meal and they did not lower the price of the meal. A few minutes later, other tables were having salad. Food was very bland and desert was lack luster. Very disappointed.

My husband and I were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant and decided to try Tre Nonne. We were not disappointed and actually the experience was one of the best! The pasta is homemade and the meatballs are very flavorful. I was hesitant with the black olive salad dressing but it enhanced the greens of the salad. Don’t pass up the cheesecake—it is also homemade and so very creamy. We plan to visit again and to bring visiting family.

Only thing good out of 4 entrees was the chicken marsala. The penny vodka was not good, the shrimp scampi came with a small hard noodle not angel hair pasta, and the ravioli was minimal. Sauces were very thin. Salad dressing water down. Bread was so hard we could not eat it.

We visited this restaurant with high hopes. Unfortunately this was the worst Italian food we've ever eaten. We ordered Bruschetta. It wasn't too bad though it wasn't traditional. I ordered fettuccine nonne. The noodles were under cooked and the cream sauce was so thick and had no taste. The chicken seemed to be whatever was leftover was thrown in. Lasagna was also ordered. It was drowning in sauce, noodles were under cooked and a very small portion. The one other dish ordered was chicken marsala with pasta. Once again the noodles were under cooked, the sauce was more like an oil and there was zero taste. The waitresses made some errors. Bringing out bread late and getting our bills wrong. But she was new and did her best.
