We have eaten at Village Tavern for years on special occasions. For my husband's birthday celebration, he ordered an 8-ounce filet mignon. Sorry to say it smelled like wet dog. They did replace it with one that was much better. The manager did not see anything wrong with the first steak which was disappointing. Two waitresses agreed with us. Not sure we will be back for the almost $100 we spent for two people.

Village Tavern was recommended by friends. This was my first visit. It will not be my last. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu. The catch of the day was Mahi. It was prepared with care, yielding a dish very close to perfection. The wait staff was friendly and attentive without being interruptive. Overall, it was a great dining experience!

First time coming here. Ruby, our server, was AMAZING, FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE and ATTENTIVE! I ordered the caesar salad and added chicken. It was delicious! My friend ordered a side salad and french onion soup. I tried the soup and it was really good! We ordered the chocolate torte cake with ice cream and ganache. It was chocolate heaven! Daniel, the manager stopped by the table. He was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice chat with him! We will definitely be back!

DO NOT ORDER THE TAVERN PIZZA, which is really flatbread. First off, we waited around 2 hours on our food. We did have a large group-about 15, but we also had advanced reservations. My pizza was cold, dry & not good. They offered to make another, I said I didn't have another 2 hours so they made it to go. That pizza was even worse than the first, including being burnt around all the crust & so dry & tough I couldn't even tear off a bite for the dog! Threw it all out. They did not charge me thank goodness. They need to remove The Tavern Pizza from their menu or get another cook. I've never had food at such a nice place that I couldn't eat!

Not our first time but the first time we had a not so great experience… 2:00 pm Saturday 5/6/24… no water was offered with our meal… we started with coffee… only got a refill once because we caught our waitress… our food took 1/2 hr to get & my entire plate of Teriyaki Filet tips/vegs/ & rice pilaf was COLD… my husband’s fish & chips was piping hot… I mentioned it to our waitress & she said she would notify the Manager… THAT never happened so I ate cold Filet tips & rice… (over $20 plate) left the peppers & onion ?… when finished… our waitress dropped off our $65.00 check without asking if we’d like dessert…. Totally disappointed today…. We will go back to Reynolda location ????
