I normally enjoy going to Zoe’s with my sisters and has been OK with the service☺️. Yesterday me and my sister decide to go to Zoe‘s after I got off work upon arriving we was going to sit in and eat but my granddaughter called and said I need to come and pick her up so I told the waiter that I was going to do a takeout instead She was offended in my opinion and her whole demeanor change. I went on a paid for my order. they had given me water so I asked for a takeout cup and I will charge five cent for the cup which I think is not necessary so I asked a girl the cashier why did I have to pay five cent for the cup, just because I’m leaving she had attitude and asked me was I gonna leave a tip? I told her no I was not gonna leave a tip. The tip can be the cent they charge me for the cup. She left the register and went behind the counter, and told the Waitress what I said which I feel was unprofessional to do that in front of me since I said it, but I wasn’t ashamed of what I said so I asked to speak to a manager first they told me they didn’t have a manager and then some tall, Caucasian guy came up With an attitude accent, can he help me and I was trying to explain to him what happened he kept interrupting me and saying some smart stuff and he said well what do you want me to do? What do you want me to do real nasty and I’m trying to explain to him that the customer service was poor, He implied to me what you want free food. I don’t need free food. I got money so I just told him to forget it and he kept getting smart rolled his eyes and he was just as nasty as a cashier so in saying all of this, I would never go back and eat at Zoe’s.
Wife and I stopped here for a bite to eat between doctors visits.I ordered a gyro it had very dried out meat and very spicy. I Asked to swap for Homemade spaghetti and was told they would have to take Plate back and ask boss.Server returned said boss said no .I was told to pay for Gryo then I could get the spaghetti .Sad to say we will not return and will tell others of this.Best to avoid Zoes .We are local and have been times before.

Not sure what the owners are doing as they let one of their best servers go who did the work of 4 people. People went to Zoe's because of Linda! Seems strange that it happened after a new girl started. Who by the way has no idea what she is doing. I have known Linda for over 20 years and followed her from Cloverdale to Zoe's as did a lot of people. I eat there or did at least 5-6 times a week. Not anymore especially if they replace competent people with "incompetent family" no loyalty anymore. Good luck . I was there today and what a mess.

Service use to be good but they just got rid of their best server and replaced her with an incompetent "family member " J. Linda was the reason we ate there and have known her for over 20 years . Bad decision owners . I will not be supporting a business that treats their loyal employees like that. And we ate there 5+ times a week because of the staff. I hope more people boycott this business!

We always enjoy family restaurants, Zoes location and atmosphere were okay, the food was ehh... my pork chops were dry and cornbread was hard, but my fried squash was really good. The service was great, the server was a pleasure.

This is a busy neighborhood diner with a small, convoluted parking lot in a busy traffic area. The inside is clean and bright, the food offerings are typically Southern with a touch of Greek choices thrown in. This is noticeably a regulars place, many acknowledging the comings and going's of others, many of whom are senior citizens! Wait staff are quintessential Southern ladies and you are either Hun or Sweetie! I came for the Cheeseburger Club and I upgraded the side to Onion Rings for an additional $1.50, and requested sweet tea. Even though they were quite busy the sandwich was out quickly, another instance of perhap too quickly. The burger patty was thin and dry, definitely not cooked to order - and while many restaurant precook items, cooking it to this state is not acceptable! And this final dagger, the cheese was only partially melted - the sandwich put together in a rather mindless manner. In addition the bacon was charred leaving it dry and a touch bitter. The Onion Rings were of the frozen variety with a thin strip of onion buried in a thick, crusty batter - not close to worth an additional $1.50! This was not even a passable meal. Don't plan on returning - too many good choices out there to accept a place like this that offers very little in the way of a pleasant dining experience in value, ambiance, or quality. NOTE: Zoe's is not connected to Mama Zoe's - they do have a second location on Old Walkertown Road.
