Vito’s wrightsville beach holds it down. The pizza is always killler and Jason and Merk are stand up people who take care of their customers. Highly recommended anytime anywhere.

From reading the other reviews, i guess this is a regular occurrence. Guy with the piercing needs some therapy to work on his communication skills AND the business needs to update their hours on google so other folks don’t have to keep going through this cycle with this guy.Saw it was open til 10pm, called to order a pick up order. He said ‘you have to be in the building at 9pm’. me confused ‘oh why? do yall close at 9?’ I was super apologetic and said ‘i don’t wanna be an Ahole and order 5 minutes before close’ He insisted on yelling to get my name and order in anyways with such an attitude. He could’ve said No, I literally wouldn’t have mind I totally get it. I go in again super apologetic and grateful and stated the hours online weren’t correct causing the confusion. He didn’t make eye contact with me nor speak to me, just shrugging and acting obviously pissy. However the other worker was sweet and it seemed like he deals with this Ahole frequently. I tipped more than he deserved regardless. Do better. This guy needs to put the bottle down and figure out how to not be an Ahole. wishing him well

I don't know where to start with this story. A couple nights ago, me and my girlfriend wanted to get a pizza from Vito's on the island, and we were met with nothing but disrespectful service. Tipping is not required, it is a courtesy. We got our pizza and we did not tip. Once the employee known as Jason noticed that we didn't tip, he shook the tip jar in my girlfriend's face and said, "We work for these." Never have I ever seen such disrespectful behavior from an employee to his customers. Needless to say this isn't table service, it is counter service. Tipping is something that I have always done at restaurants and at bars, but due to the lack of respect for service and the quality of the pies, tipping is not worth it. We called the day after to notify the manager of the event that took place the night before, his only response was, "the customers are often rude to us as well, so deal with it." To sum up everything I will never be ordering something from this establishment ever again.

The guy with the piercings gotta get fired, he refunded my order of 2 pies because I didn’t tip him and then proceeded to kick me out of the building for not tipping. I dont have to tip if he wants to complain about his job he should work somewhere else. Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had there and that guys sucks
Despite the fact that this place is the only restaurant at WB open past 10PM, I will still never again go no matter how hungry I am; despite being a 5-year customer. The restaurant provides counter-service, not sit-down service; yet the cashier, Jason, constantly harasses customers for not tipping. On separate nights, I have heard about him kicking people out of the store, shaking the tip jar in customer’s faces, and even having intoxicated customers boo at you. On multiple occasions, myself and friends have complained to management. The managers do not care, do not bother trying to get anywhere with them. I hypothesize that the managers do not care because their location is phenomenal, so they do not struggle for business. This place has undoubtedly the worst customer service I have ever been provided and it is not even close; and they are repeat offenders.Aside from all that, the pizza itself is not very good. The only reason I would go there over other places to begin with is out of convenience. But never again. I will not go to a place that harasses customers (typically people under 25) for not tipping in a service where tipping is not a part of the bill.

Do not ever come here. The employees and management feel entitled to tips for COUNTER SERVICE and throw tantrums when you don't tip. They reheat the pizza ands give it to you. Drinks are in bottles. The employee at the counter will refuse service over not tipping. When you complain to the management, they support the employee and are of the mindset that not tipping for COUNTER SERVICE makes you a jerk. It is totally unfathomable that any business operates in this way and I do not ever recommend stepping foot inside this embarrassment of an establishment.

Creepy guy with all the piercings berated my friend at the bar across the street for “only tipping $1 every time she comes in”. She was terrified and scared he might get violent. This wasn’t an isolated incident, he berated another friend of mine a few weeks ago for the same reason. I’ve been to Vito’s dozens of times and always throw my spare change in the jar but this is not a sit down restaurant with servers and bartenders. They heat up the slice and hand you the slice. Even the drinks are all bottled. Something tells me he wouldn’t be so upset about his tips if he didn’t spend all his time and money getting drunk and harassing young girls. Vito’s I know you can do better than this creep. Never had an issue with the other staff but myself and everyone who was there when this happened will be avoiding Vito’s at least until he’s gone.
