“I have only been to the Yacht Club a few times, but every time has been great. The owner and the staff are very personable. There is plenty of seating inside and has some long tables outside to relax and enjoy a cold beer. Plenty pf different options on tap. Check it out!“
“This Rustic venue is off the beaten path in Youngsville, NC located just outside of Wake Forest. If you’re looking for a break from chain restaurants and bars in the city this is just the answer. With a truly friendly atmosphere the staff and patrons are welcoming. The night I was there, the annual Christmas tree burning was in full swing. A great way to get rid of all those Xmas trees and who really needs a reason to have a big old fashioned bonfire! Plenty of Oooo’s and Ahhh’s going on and people just enjoying each other’s company.“
“If you're in Youngsville and want great pizza, you need to stop by HomeSlice Tavern. Heck, if you're anywhere in a 75 mile radius of Youngsville, get in here!My wife and I have been meaning to stop in for a while and finally made it today. We were not disappointed and will be back again, regularly. As far as the menu, your choice is pizza. You can order by the slice or get a whole pizza. Keeping it simple, there's only one size - 18 inch. There are plenty of choices for toppings. The pizza is some of the best I've had! The crust is hand tossed, cooked to perfection. Plenty of gooey cheese. Lots of pepperoni! I forgot how much I loved the little pepperoni until I had it on this pizza. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza.Drink selection is plentiful. They have a few beers on tap and more in bottles and cans. Their liquor selection is huge - I imagine they can make just about anything you want. Today's popular drink was Bloody Marys. The restaurant itself is very inviting. The kind of place you want to hang out with family and friends. Inside is a large bar and plenty of high-top and regular tables. The area is nice and open. There's a small area with arcade-type games. They have a huge outside area with a lot of seating. There's even a balcony area to look out over the outdoor area.Jay, one of the GMs, made us feel very welcome. He chatted with us and gave everyone equal attention. This is definitely a friendly place. We can't wait to go back, hang out, and have a great time.“
“Stopped in right when they opened for lunch on a weekday. The service matched the food - excellent. I ordered a gringa quesadilla for husband (HA!) and a street corn for myself. Delicious! The menu offers many great options, and I look forward to trying more! The space is fun, made me feel happy and welcomed.“
“This place is amazing for the service as well as the selection of spirits. They have rare finds that I didn't think was possible in the area. Listen to the bartenders. They turned me on to some Toast brands that were amazing. Try something new and have fun!“
“Amazing brewery! Went a few weeks back and had a great time. They have great pizza and plenty of other food on a rotating basis. The owner is chill and the staff are very welcoming. They serve beer, cider, wine, liquor, and have a cocktail menu. I cannot wait to visit again and add one of their pint glasses to my collection!“
“Very nice place for a drink after dinner in Franklinton. Want to stop by in the evening when the weather gets better for a BBQ dinner and a game of horse shoes or two.Parking: If you find other parking on Franklinton, this place is just a short walk to almost anywhere downtown.“
“Thank you Brookfield for letting us host our company Christmas party. Anna and Sam are amazing! Our staff had so much fun! I really appreciate you guys taking the time to help us create a wonderful memory. What a great place with great owners!“
“Came in on a BUSY Sunday for a pick up order, decided I really wanted a milkshake, last minute. Brianna greeted us with a warm welcome and made my milkshake right away!!10 thumbs up to Brianna for making the BEST peanut butter oreo milkshake in record time!!!“
“Come for the great service! Stay for the entertainment! The whole place is such an amazing vibe. Sink into a couch, lounge in an armchair, sit as a group at a table, meander at the bar ... and then there's an outdoor patio!!! There are books & games on the shelves but in most cases, live entertainment of various kinds throughout the week. Small eats menu (I haven't had them yet but the meatballs, when sitting in front of someone three feet away had the best smell!) & lots of drink options.“
“My 2nd time. Locally owned. Owner from New Orleans area which would explain the crayfish etoufee dish. Alcohol is the same everywhere but the food is what makes the difference. Phenomenal food with generous portions. A classic neighfborhood bar / hangout. I'll be back for a third time.“
“I had a milk stout and felt right at home in this cozy place in the forests of Wake. Several friends and I were hoping to hear an acoustic trio do songs by America, one of our favorite bands. Hopefully, one day they will have one sometime. This haus is wild, baby, wild.“
“We frequent Nantucket multiple times a week. It's one of our favorite restaurants. The wait staff and managers are very pleasant and will go out of their way to help you. I can't complain about the quality of the food nor the price. We usually have enough left over for lunch the next day so we're paying one price for two meals. You can't beat that!“
“If you want to enjoy a great beverage in a comfy friendly Tavern, The Main Street Tavern is the perfect spot!! My family just celebrated our mother’s 75th birthday at the Tavern, and the owners Linda and Jim, were so welcoming and accommodating, and Amy provided great bar services!! Thank you Main Street Tavern for helping us celebrate our beautiful mother!!“
“Stopped by Tonic Bar and Social Club in downtown Wake Forest recently and absolutely loved the vibe! It's a quaint spot that feels just right for unwinding with an evening drink during the week. They've got a decent beer selection that's sure to hit the spot whether you're a casual drinker or a bit of a connoisseur. Definitely a gem in the area for those looking to escape the usual hustle and bustle. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to chill out in a cozy setting with a good in hand.“
“This place is the ultimate family favorite. We go at least once a week and have had amazing experiences every time. They are super kid friendly, priced well, great service - everyone we came across was helpful and friendly, and the food is fabulous.“
“San Jose is one of the staples in my Tacos and Tequilas Tuesdays rotation. If you decide to visit San Jose, you won't have any regrets..especially if you try the tacos, wings, fajitas, and any of the drinks. The service is always helpful, attentive, and friendly. In addition to our main server, we have observed the manager walk around and ask how patrons are enjoying their visit. It's the little things like this that encourages me to return again and again. If you live in or are visiting Wake Forest/North Raleigh and you are looking for a place to let your hair down after a rough day/week and want some tasty tacos, rice, and refried beans, don't think twice about visiting San Jose. Everything we have ordered has been good. Our food always comes to the table hot and looking very appealing. They say "we eat with our eyes." Above all, the taste never disappoints. The ambience is also date-appropriate. Snuggle up with your date and a nice cocktail. You will not be disappointed. Happy Eating!“
“Amazing place with great atmosphere! Loved all the decor, definitely felt like a lot of love went into this spot. Luca was our server, he had great recommendations and took good care of my mom and I for lunch on Good Friday. The food was excellent! Down to the tortilla chips ?????? Special margarita was blueberry pineapple- immaculate! I got the Camaròn tacos and mom got the Porter no pineapple. The shrimp was excellent with the perfect amount of heat, the pork was some of the best I've had in a taco. Will definitely be making the trip to Raleigh more often to visit more!“
“Best bar in Wake Forest. Food is always really good and it's a fun place to hang out at for live sports. Plus they have an awesome jukebox so you can play any type of music you like. Best part is the bartenders. Megan, Mel, and Jordan are the best, they are the OGGH of the crew. They definitely bring in the regulars and are the main reason we keep coming back. They might even occasionally have an Adam Sandler movie on.“
“Cute pub-like feel inside. Bartender Nicole was friendly and fast. Try the gummy bear shot! Server Stacy was super nice, gave great recommendations, and was very accommodating. The cheese curds were good - try them! Veggie flatbread pizza was huge and flavorful! All the stringy delicious ooey-gooey cheesy goodness! I believe 8 slices so definitely share or take home leftovers! Our friends didn't love the Eggroll app and my husband didn't love the wings. The tots looked delish golden brown and crispy. Will definitely be back!“
“Great pizza but a little on the higher price side for my taste. The atmosphere is hippy and great and we even took pictures with the kids at all the different outlandish decorations and mushrooms. Great time but a little to much for our budget.“
“Fabulous local establishment. Excellent beer and wine selections. Walked in for the first time and had five other patrons, all introduced themselves and welcomed me. Bartender (Will) provided excellent service. Burnt Barrel does Youngsville proud. Thank you.“
