I had been here a few times before, and usually get the donuts, which are so good and the only donuts my non vegan son will eat. First time being here on a Sunday, so I had to try the humongous cinnamon roll. Too big to eat at one sitting, so I took it home and had a slice heated a few seconds in the microwave. What a treat! So happy to live close by.

We went to Plant Cakes Bake Shop this morning with some new friends. It was worth the drive from Holly Springs. We ordered a dozen different gluten-free dairy-free donuts as well as some muffins and some drinks. Can't wait to go back for more! The owners were there and we're so kind as to send us away with some cupcakes for us to try as well. They even had a cute little area to eat outside where we were able to sit with our sweet dog Lady.

Made the trek to Plant Cakes Bake Shop this morning after church and took some new friends. We were very impressed, not to mention grateful that I was able to have yummy treats that I didn't have to bake! So hard to find gluten free AND dairy free options unless I'm willing to bake them myself. The owners were very great. just and I can't wait to come back again. I made sure to buy a dozen donuts and plan to freeze the extras so that we will have snacks for later! The owners even sent us home with some cupcakes that I'm looking forward to having later!

I love the quaint streets at Wake Forest so when I found out there was a vegan bakery I was happy to take my friend and head over there. It wasn't busy and we were waited on promptly. I did not purchase gluten free products, just the vegan product. Cupcakes were delicious the only item I wasn't crazy about was the cookies and cream donut. It seemed dry to me. Great way to treat yourself if vegan and in the area. They have a nice selection of flavors.

A few years ago I stumbled upon this establishment when I was on my plane based journey. Couldn’t be happier. Note that I can’t have gluten or wheat, I can still enjoy their goodies because they have separate options for such. Always great service and great food!!Oh and now they have ice cream and coffee!!!!

Today was my first visit but I think I'll be back weekly. I am both gluten and dairy free because of a disorder and it's VERY difficult to find pastries that adhere to that diet, but these were absolutely amazing. I got a strawberry donut, a cookies and crème donut, and a cinnamon roll (not gf) for my husband. My sister and I both had a cinnamon iced latte and they were absolutely delicious - not too sweet, just the right amount of flavor. The place is so cute inside, and the person at the counter was so patient as I asked a million questions. They gave my daughter a free juice box as well. I would come back daily if my wallet allowed. Thank you SO much for a wonderful Saturday TREAT.

I just moved to this area from the Hampton roads area of Virginia. We have tons of plant based /vegan locations. I have been looking and look for places here. We stumbled upon this bakery when we were at the nail bar next door. I was so excited. We purchased cinnamon roll, 3 cupcakes and a donut. We got home to dig in and was disappointed.Cupcakes:Good: they tasted exactly like the flavor they were supposed to be.Bad: dry and crispy(like chips) icing.Cinnamon roll:Good: Top part with icing and middle was deliciousBad: out side of roll and bottom was hard.Donut: I had the black cherry.Good: cake part was deliciousBad: Icing was not good and left a bad aftertaste.I have had excellent baked goods that are plant based. what I had wasn’t a good first impression. I will have to keep looking or drive out to the Raleigh/ Durham area where it seems like the majority of plant-based or vegan restaurants are.

This is the best vegan doughnut shop in the Triangle area.Vegetarian options: The variety of vegan and gluten free vegan options are exciting and consistent. The doughnuts are always good. The cakes are large expensive and delicious when fresh. I recommend this place to vegans vegetarians and everyone who enjoys baked goods.
