Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Ate at the bar with a co-worker and we enjoyed the large bar layout, friendly staff, strong drinks, and delicious food!!!

The food is sub-standard. I ordered Fish & Chips. The portions were less than half of what a person might expect, and lacked flavor quality. My wife ordered a Rueben sandwich, which had grisly meat and bland sauerkraut. My sister ordered a shrimp scampi, and left it basically untouched as it did not good. The Brussel Sprout appetizer did not taste good either. They were the worst we ever had. Even the French Fries weren't good.Conversely, the service was excellent, and the ambience was great! They need to improve the quality of their food and the capability of their chiefs.

While I understand the need for businesses to manage their costs, I have reservations about the decision to communicate the passing of credit card fees onto consumers. I recall that the motivation behind this move was to maintain affordable menu prices, which I appreciate. However, I'm aware that tips are a significant part of the staff's income and that you're also benefiting from tax advantages via the Renaissance Zone program. Given these factors, I wonder if these avenues could potentially offset the impact of credit card processing fees.I'm also considering whether alternatives like implementing a minimum purchase requirement, negotiating more favorable rates with credit card processors, or even reevaluating your compensation structure might be worth exploring. Another aspect that crosses my mind is whether there could be other avenues, such as personal concessions, to address these fees.Considering that younger generations tend to carry less cash than previous generations, it might be worth taking into account the convenience factor when making decisions about payment methods.I genuinely appreciate the thoughtfulness that you're putting into this matter, and I hope that whatever decisions are made, they ultimately result in a positive experience for both the business and the customers

I was recently there with a big party of about 16 people. Most of the service was good and we had a great time, although something I had never seen happen in a restaurant-bar in my entire life left a bit of a sour taste on the otherwise lovely evening. One of the drinks that a woman in our group ordered was- quite honestly, not great, not good at all. She kindly told the waiter her drink was not what she expected and he rudely responded “we can’t remake it and we can’t take it off your tab!!”.What? In any case, I would expect the waiter to ask about it, care for what she didn’t like, maybe offer a solution? Or at least not be so rude that most of the table stopped what they were doing given his loud response.I’ve worked at a bar, my family has owned restaurants and I have been to countless bars myself. And EVERY place will immediately replace your drink or offer to make a different one OR at the very least, take constructive feedback. (It’s not like a loop to get free drinks, just one remake and quality service)The tab for our group came close to $800, a $12 drink would not have made a difference, but the situation, the way it was handled and the principle around a $3 loss (out of pocket price for the restaurant) was honestly sad, distasteful and in my experience, unprecedented poor customer service.

Went at prime time and found plenty of room at the bar. Bartender extremely helpful and friendly. Ordered simple meals off the main menu, fish and chips, and a BLT. Both were outstanding, the fish and chips were the best I've had in Bismarck, big meaty pieces, not too much batter. The BLT was just loaded with the most bacon I've ever seen on a BLT, very flavorful. Drinks reasonably priced, great service, nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going back!!
