So My family and I just moved to Bismarck, ND a few weeks ago and My Husband decided to take me to lunch. I've never had Indian food so he suggested I try it. I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit nervous because I always associated Indian with spicy. I could not have been more wrong! We started off with the lamb kabobs, since I had never had lamb before either. It was different. It was good and the green sauce definitely helped it taste better. Then we had the chicken Tikka Masala for the meal and the garlic Naan. Yes yes yes!!!! It was absolutely delicious! The chicken was tender, the rice was cooked to perfection, and the Naan just tied everything in perfectly! I will definitely be back to order this again! 10/10 for sure!

Spent 60$ on a meal for the butter chicken to taste like tomato soup, and $5 kulfi was NOT KULFI it’s supposed to be condensed milk ice cream type not straight up ketchup container of mango. The smallest serving of the wrong product. Over priced and not up to par. Serving sizes are too small for the prices given. First timer was immensely disappointed.

The staff is very kind and always moving. Best service of any buffet i've ever been. Water glasses are filled immediately, staff all operates as one unit to take care of tables and bus dishes quickly. After eating I always find myself zoning out looking at the bartender making drinks, and it's hard to leave hungry. My husband loves the fish pakora, but i'm partial to anything with paneer. Chicken tikka masala and butter chicken are favourites too, and there is always fresh naan!Kid-friendliness: buffet with fresh fruit and lots of mild, colorful entrees options for little ones to try
First time at India Clay , stopped for dinner and had the shrimp it was awesome, highly recommend this restaurant. I am excited to try their afternoon buffet next. This will be my favorite place in Bismarck hands down!

Another visit to India Clay Oven was in order during my last visit to Bismarck N.D. wonderful people and better food. I had the Shrimp Tikka this go around, and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed. Stop on in for some really wonderful Indian cuisine.

Awesome spot. Came for lunch on a Tuesday and did the lunch buffet. Great price for a buffet which a good amount of options. I love some butter chicken and tandoori chicken so I filled up mostly on that. Also loved the mango custard and probably should've made more room for another serving of it. Not the largest restaurant but spacious to fit a decent crowd. Overall, a pleasant experience and great option for lunch in the area.

I've heard good things about this place. I finally got a chance to check it out. Pleasantly surprised to find such an elegant trendy atmosphere plus amazing food in Bismarck. Staff was friendly and food terrific. I ordered lamb in a delicious saffron that had a creamy succulent saffton sauce that was amazing with rice. A new comfort food for me.

Parking: The parking can be annoying but it's a great restaurant one of my favorites and the food makes the parking worth it every bit
Great little restaurant, food is always on par. Only problem is the parking and it's not a big problem. I've eaten here many time and will continue. Good for take out as well cause you might not finish your meal in one sitting.

I wish I had food photos to share but it always looks so delicious we dig in right away. This is one of our favorite date night spots. Drinks are always good & the food is even better. The service is excellent. & the restaurant itself is extremely well decorated.
