I have let the phone ring for both the auto center and associates office for 20 min. A person at the associates center placed me on a hold only to never come back. The phone has been ringing for 20:52 now. This is the second Walmart in North Dakota that doesn't have anyone to answer the phones in any department.

I drove over an hour to find higher prices than I am accustomed to paying at other Walmart stores. I gathered wanted items and proceeded to checkout. Once there i found no registers open, only self checking. They want us to pay a high price for items, then check our items and bag them for no discount price. Why even have registers available if no one tends them? Why charge high prices and make customers do the task of cashiers without some kind of reimbursement?

This is aimed more at the auto care center than the rest of the store. Had my oil changed on one of my cars a while back, thought everything was fine. Come to find out the auto techs screwed up somewhere and ended with my headgasket blowing. Ended up selling the car. These "mechanics" should not be allowed anywhere near vehicles. Go elsewhere.

Worst automotive experience ever at Walmart South Bismarck! The customer service rep was rude and then bragged about being the best Walmart Automotive Center. I was charged to have 2 tires disposed that were not disposed. I never got a call when my vehicle was finished. I showed up before closing to retrieve car and every staff was rude. They tried telling us we did not have an appointment. After an argument of several minutes they finally let us through to get the vehicle. Highly recommend going somewhere else for tire purchases. I currently don't know what to do with the tires I was charged to be disposed.

This is the nicest Walmart in the Bismarck/Mandan area. Not saying it is spectacular, but it is the cleanest, better smelling, and well-organized Walmart. They could do a little more zoning (putting things up further on the shelves), but overall this Walmart has it all; Walmart Supercenters have everything. Lastly, there's lots of parking (this Walmart is often busy) and the customer service can improve, but can't all Walmarts' customer service improve?

Came here while in town, was across the street from my hotel. Was able to get everything I needed. Went to the grocery store part. They have self-check out which is nice. Went to the subway and had the most terrible coffee and they stared without shame. Otherwise I liked to just get my stuff and leave.

It's amazing how I manage to find everything I need in a Walmart, even a couple of items I didn't know I needed until I saw them there on the shelf. The store is in decent shape though I did not venture into the grocery side today, just personal care and home/office. Self checkout worked well. They get a pass on shopping carts today as there were not very many in the lot due to the snow conditions. [Review 10621 overall, 455 of 2019.]

Bismarck may have a local zoo, but this place would double as one too. The employees were helpful, but by golly I thought my visit was on Halloween by the looks of the patrons; my visit was clearly on a warm August summer night. Hopefully a daytime visit would prove to be better but I never got that opportunity as I was merely passing through town. Whew!

Be very careful when buying fruits here. Most of the time, they are moldy or will start to go bad soon. It is hard to check the berries as they are inside containers. Despite shaking the containers to check, there are always some moldy berries on the inside. Be sure to examine other fruits carefully as well. I would say about 80% of the workers are of no help at all. They just point you in the direction of what you need with vague instructions "I think it is over here" or just several aisles down". The plus side is that there is a lot of parking here. It isn't hard to find parking as it is a big lot and I have never seen it more than half full.
