All I can say is incredible! Everything was imaginative and delicious.I could go through every item and explain why is was so terrific.Never in ND did I think a restaurant would step out of a comfort zone and educate its patrons about the wonders of experimenting with different foods and combinations of food.I will dream about the salmon. I have never had salmon seasoned and prepared like it was in a Top Chef competition. This last year I was in Venice, Florence, Montreux, Germany and Paris in the spring and in Portugal for 2 weeks in October.I only had one meal that could even be compared to last night.Thank you for being adventurous. Not everyone will appreciate what an adventurous meal that was created, I will never forget it.Oh, the drinks were over the top in challenging new flavors and well constructed with similar imaginative creativity. Thanks again.Tim F

The serving staff is great food has just been utterly disappointing especially at the price. After trying to give it one last chance only 1 of the 4 of us got something somewhat edible and it was still cold. All of our food was cold and the food was practically flavorless. It’s a shame because their serving staff was very friendly.

The meal called the Farmers Breakfast isn’t very good. Sausage was dried out and bland, prairie hash was just a medley of corn, carrot and diced potatoes. Tasted horrible and looked like it came out of a can. Nothing like real hash. Other people in our group had burgers that were very under done. They should just stop asking ppl how they want it cooked if they can’t make it right.

701 Eateries is by far one of my favorite places in Fargo, just upon walking in you know you are somewhere special but you don’t feel out of place. The staff are always so warm and welcoming. My favorite dish is definitely the Bison Tenderloin they have in prairie kitchen on the main floor dining room but the U-betcha burger upstairs in camp lone tree might be the best burger in all of FM area!! I will definitely be back time and time again and would highly recommend anyone who has the opportunity to give this restaurant a chance!!!

Wheelchair accessibility: Twice now we reserved the big room downstairs. My grandmother couldn't take the stairs. The staff was very accommodating and assisted her with the elevator.

The girls went out and my friend got the Mac and cheese, it was very salty. The actual noddle was saltless but the sauce was a recipe for hypertension in a bowl. We all tasted it. I told the server and she did not even care, all she said was “oh okay, let me talk to the head chef”, not even hey I’m sorry let me see what I can do. she comes back and tells us that “the head chef said it tastes fine.” And she even said “should I pack it up for you, maybe it’ll better taste tomorrow.” Why would something salty taste better tomorrow? This is poor service, we will not be eating here again. 0/10

If you’re gluten free there’s a 30% chance they’ll poison you. They’d better be careful not to get sued cause there are people that have worse issues than I do with gluten and for a menu that prioritizes gluten free that’s just unacceptable. Didn’t even offer to comp my meal when they poisoned me. I’ve heard a few different people say they’ve gotten food poisoning here and one other friend was also give gluten when requested gf option.

There were 13 of us at the table—always a challenge for a single server. It’s a great space, but the food could have and should have been better. The 701 Sprouts were quite good as were the oysters. My salmon was overcooked—ordered it med rare and got well done—and a bit over seasoned. The dill oil washed some of it away, fortunately. The potatoes pave were well made, but a bit under seasoned. I tried someone else’s bison tenderloin that was very tender and moist, but a bit tepid for just having received it. Two felt the peppercorns on the bison were heavy handed.Dietary restrictions: I appreciated the addition of the icons for dietary restrictions.

My shrimp was translucent, pasta half cooked.I did get 3 new pieces of shrimp, however, that meal should have been comped. They comped a desert. Not our servers fault. But, it's our first and last time there. We will stick to going to Mezzaluna and Luna for fine dining. Dissatisfied.
