Absolutely the breakfast in town. Delicious sandwich options for lunch too. Try the daily egg bake, the bacon egg & cheese bagel, the chicken walnut melt, the blintz, and any of their sweets.

I came to this restaurant from a recommendation from another place I went to for coffee … I am from New York so I’ve had all sorts of food and made sure not to have an expectation because to be honest it’s a different environment… unfortunately this place wasn’t it for me I am not going to say very negative things be sude I only came once the service was fine a young guy with cool looking blue green hair helped me.. I said I was new never tried and asked what he recommended he said a soup, and sandwich I realized it was a Jewish restaurant which is fine I’ve had Jewish food before that was amazing so I was hopeful … I said I was not in the mood for soup he recommended the Nordic lamb sandwhich so I had it and was not good to me for my taste it looked fine and I am sure to people who like those flavors they liked it… but for me I didn’t like the mix of sweet cranberry like sauce in my sandwich so maybe I should have not followed the recommendation… I just didn’t like it that is just my taste … I had the gingerbread cake and it was super super sweet a bit to over powering again just my flavor and not for me I love ginger bread and ginger but didn’t like how stark the sweetness was… I had a marionberry fizz I did ask if it was a soda or seltzer I was told it’s a soda and I don’t like seltzer and it was indeed more of a seltzer all in all I just didn’t like it .. everyone was fine the place was okay a bit dates but okay all in all maybe I’ll try it again and see if my 2nd time is better . I also came at the end of their day they close at 3 I got there at 2:30 so maybe I was a little rushed in looking at the menu pictures show what k left I really didn’t eat any of it.

Our favorite Sunday spot! We love their bagel breakfasts! Comes out quick but you might have to wait if you come later in the morning because this place is popular!

Friendly staff, always busy when I come in the morning, nice breakfast place. Not all food was good but that's just up to tastes, I find it enjoyable. I was ordering here three days in a row (trying out their lox) by the third day I got tired of the taste. Don't have a variety of options but it's a cute breakfast joint. Recommend

Might be the best restaurant in Fargo for quality vs cost. I went four times in two weeks and everything I had was delicious and high quality, but it's regular prices.

I loved the matzo ball soup but found the cold chicken salad rather lacking in flavor. The service was prompt and courteous. The ambiance was just like a quiet New York delicatessen and I enjoyed it very much! My friend said his pastrami was also a bit bland but we both agreed that the hummus and bagels were incredible! I'd recommend it!

I think I've been here about four times across a couple of their locations and it's always been a great experience. I have no problem giving the food here a 5 and the overall place a 5. If any local restaurant actually deserves it, and people aren't just being default, it's BernBaums. The options are very unique and always outstanding tasting. I like how they have a little classic like diner style bar off to the side, and their overall antique style atmosphere. This is a photo I took from there myself in 2018, it's not the ? ? and ? I got this time.

I tried the Romanian Sausage and Egg bagel. I was to crazy about the seasoning in the sausage (stupid American pallet) However, the bagel and dill cream cheese was delicious. Also the house mustard and pickles are very good.A very cozy place, would be great for a first date.

The web sight said Jewish owned and I thought it might be kosher, it is not. Got my order wrong but quickly corrected it. My wife found a hair in her sandwich. It is unlikely we will return.

I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was not very good. Breakfast sandwich came out cold, and there was a bunch of extra things on my sandwich that kind of ruined the meal. This is not a restaurant for getting good food, it’s more for the atmosphere.
