My sister and I dined in this restaurant a couple weeks ago. She remembered it being a laundromat prior to remodeling it as a restaurant. The waitress said that originally, it was a barn! Very cute set up and lovely, rustic ambiance. I picked this restauant because it had farm style, Norwegian food and since moving out of state 35 years ago, I miss the food of my youth! So good! We celebrated my uncle's 80th birthday. The food was good. I had the stroganoff . The meat melted in your mouth. I would have liked a little more sauce. But it was still delicious. My husband had the hot dish. He loved it. The Apps and service were even better! Loved the non alcoholic drink options!Parking: If it wouldn't have been bitterly cold out, walking a block to park wouldn't have been as bad.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. Maybe we were just lucky, but my husband, 17yo daughter and I all agree it was an outstanding meal, start to finish - and we are not restaurant novices, as an understatement. I’m gluten-free, and I was blown away by all the gf options. The cheese curds, which are gluten-free, were honestly the best I’ve ever had, and my (non-gf) family agreed. As were the gruyère fries.
