I ordered the chicken Katsu with curry. it came with an incredible home made Miso with fresh sea weed and tofu. the katsu was crispy and juicy and perfectly golden brown. the curry was flavorful and rich with the perfect blend of spices (though not spicy) and paired lovely with the rice and katsu. the slaw was very fresh and light and offered a refreshing contrast to the savory curry and chicken. everything is made there fresh never frozen, and the ingredients are super high quality. Great date night experience! We reserved a table for 2, 45 minutes prior and upon our arrival we were warmly greeted and seated at our table. We ordered a couple bottles of Soju, Peach and Grape. Both were spectacular. Gyoza and Lemongrass Grilled Shrimp for appetizers, which were fantastic both in presentation and flavor. Main courses we went with the Spicy Pork Bulgogi and the Kung Pao Spaghetti. Highly recommend both. Also ordered both styles of the house made kimchi. Everything about tonight's experience was superb. Highly recommend giving SoHo 23 a try!

Far and away one of my new favorite places to eat in the Fargo-Moorhead area. The first bite of the starter ( dynamite seafood) I knew this was my favourite resturant. The ambiance, the whole staff and owner and more importantly the food was an experience I won't forget in a hurry. The explosion of taste is like an angel crying on your tongue. To give this resturant less than 5 is a travesty. This will forever be our GO TO place. Get your A## there asap and support this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing! 5 star plus! There was so much flavor with every single bite. The staff and owners were so attentive and kind. We felt the portions were perfectly sized with enough to bring some home, the cost was reasonable, and the atmosphere was nice. What an incredible hidden gem of Fargo!! I have passed by this place a hundred times but never gone in, and I'm so glad we did. We were seated right away and got our drinks right away. The staff were all SO kind and friendly. They were able to recommend excellent dishes to us. They made sure we were taken care of without smothering us. All of the food was fresh and hot, and it tasted phenomenal. I got the short ribs, and they were absolutely to die for. The miso soup was AMAZING, too! We loved the atmosphere as well. It was calm and serene. We were so relaxed when we were eating our meal. Absolutely no complaints at all. The restaurant was roomy and handicap accessible. Everything was clean and it smelled wonderful. They even gave us a complimentary dessert since it was our first time there. We had an awesome experience and will absolutely be back!! So glad we stopped by!

True story…Friday 3/9Ate here with our daughter, after visiting more than 30 min for food our daughters order came out. We waited and waited for our food as our daughter ate, she finished her food, finally my husband got up and found someone to ask for our food, the finally brought his plate while I continued to wait for mine. 5 min later mine showed up! Have to honestly say that we have never had an experience like this, won’t be back here.

We went here tonight because no one had been here before. Wow. What an experience. The food was delicious. Out waiter really know the menu and made some excellent recommendations. Two of us had the chicken Bulgari and one had the loco moco. I think that is what it is called. Regardless, all the food was fabulous. I would certainly recommend this business.
