Was delicious. Only thing is you actually have to eat something different upon returning for another dish, The buffet is low stock. So continuesly fresh. One way to look at it.

My wife and I found this when we did a Google search for buffets. When we arrived there was not a single vehicle in the parking lot. It was 5:30 pm so we thought the Far East Buffet was closed. We noticed the open sign before we got turned around so we went in and ate. We were sure glad we did. The food was very fresh, hot and very good. I always take small amounts to start with so I don't have a lot to eat of something I am not fond of. I tried a lot of entrees and I enjoyed them all. Seldom do I find a buffet where I like everything. I rated this buffet a 5 star because a 3.8 out of 5 was a ridiculously low rating IMHO. Also the self serve fountain drinks were included in the $14.00 cost for the dinner price.

Went on Thursday night and were really excited to try as we love Chinese and were hoping for another choice besides Panda(no slam). The waitress didn't address us, but pointed to a table. We sat down having never been there and watched others to know that we were supposed to get our own drinks, not a big deal. Went to get food and there were few options, all of which were either crusty or swimming in sauce. We both got a partial plate and went to eat. Nothing was hot, luke warm at best. Little to no taste on any of it, neither of us could finish. Ended up being $14/person for absolutely awful food. Would NOT recommend!

The hot and sour soup was thick like syrup and had little flavor. Mongolian pork and the fried shrimp were good and the egg foo Yung patties with gravy weren't the worst. Well maintained soda machine with proper carbonation. Went for lunch and stuff was picked over pretty well and what was left was kinda cold.

Very poor hospitality by the manager and her son’s, only one box food cost me $19; I took a takeaway box with some chicken but the manager asked me it’s expensive and misbehaved with me. I wouldn’t advise anyone. Food’s aren’t fresh! Bad experience! I have been a victim of racial discrimination by the manager!

This time it did not have the dishes labeled made it hard to know what you were eating. The food is very tasty.

I either eat at the restaurant or order outI love the taste of the foodThe only concern would be they need to keep the serving trays filled a lot empty most times but doesn't do me from going there sugar is friendship friendly

Food was okay. Had a buffet so that was good. Best dish was the breaded shrimp.

We frequent this place. Food is always hot and delicious. Large variety of food choices. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms. The price is right and the service is always friendly and prompt.

This place has pretty decent buffet Chinese food. The lunch crowd (about 20% of the restaurants capacity) emptied the buffet out pretty fast so many items were empty on the buffet, but the food I had was good.

I stopped going here. Food is nothing special. I didn't like that the lunch food was being passed off as dinner food. Cold and didn't look good. Changing the price so you don't waste food isn't right. Grand Forks doesn't have a good Chinese resturant.

Weak food selection mirrors on ceiling to hide that fact like a carnival, empty parking lot is a good indicator.wake up gf

Absolutely delicious!! I got a to go box of amazing lunch today. The sweet and sour chicken was perfectly crispy. The cream cheese wontons are crispy delicious. The noodles and pepper chicken were also great. Overall wonderful buffet, clean restaurant and friendly employees.
