Haven’t had a bad tasting meal from this place. Not super budget friendly but also not overly expensive. Their meal combinations are interesting, healthy, and delicious. They do a really good job with portion sizes, which might be the most important thing if you are trying to eat healthy. Also nice that you can freeze the meals (or buy them frozen at a discount) and they heat up just about as well as the refrigerated ones.

We moved to the Grand Forks area 3 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, and before that Minneapolis. This place is as good as any we went to in either of those cities. My wife is glute-free and has a number of go-to items on the menu, which is clearly labeled for gluten-free options.

Power Plate Meals has allowed me to eat healthier. The meals only take 2 minutes to heat up with no meal prep mess! Because the menu changes every two weeks, there has always been something new for me to try. With the wide variety of meals and snacks, you will definitely find something that fulfills your cravings.

Power Plate Meals makes eating healthy so easy and now I don’t have to spend hours meal prepping and the doing all the dishes from meal prepping. I love that the meals are high in protein and help me hit my nutrition goals!

The quality of the food at this restaurant is amazing - I have never before had food this good in Grand Forks. The location isn’t much (a strip mall way on the south of town), but the the cuisine makes up for it. There’s also a great wine selection, and they even let you order ½ a glass, so you can try more wines without overdoing the alcohol. If you want inventive dishes that taste great, you won’t be disappointed.

Great food and presentation and efficient wait staff. I have dined there several times, and have never been disappointed. the portions are perfect, and the atmosphere is lovely. They offer a very diverse and nice menu with entrees for everyone. The last time I was at Helix, I had the braised beef and shrimp - it was amazing! Love this little but special restaurant. Give Helix a try!

Two and a half ours of time well spent at Helix on a Saturday evening with excellent food! We started off with two delicious appetizers, the Mango Peanut Pork Belly, and the Braised Beef Tostadas. Our entrees were equally delicious and satisfying. We ordered the Pork Belly with Chipotle BBQ Sauce with Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes. We also ordered the Helix Dinner Salad and the Vegetable Gnocchi. For dessert, we also ordered two items off the menu, the Chocolate Truffle and the Tiramisu. Had to! Glad we did! We’d do it again. Our wine choice for the evening was a glass of Trivento Malbec, and a bottle of the 2019 Conundrum Red Blend. Our server was smooth and attentive. We had a small problem that was quickly solved. All in all...it was a great night at Helix! We all look forward to our next visit.

The service wasn’t there. Food took over an hour to get there and our friends dish came cold. The steak was over cooked then undercooked for strike two. The drinks wasn’t any better. First time wasn’t as bad. But that second visit sealed a deal that will not make us recommend it. Too much of a risk to put my name on.

We have dined at Helix twice and have found the bar service, food service, food, and atmosphere to be excellent. It is noisy, but that seems to be a trend these days. The restaurant is poorly located--almost out of town in the south end, but has a loyal following. It would be nice if it would relocate to downtown. Its current location implies a strip-mall mediocre restaurant, but diners will be very pleasantly surprised. We went there on Monday night and found that it was closed on Mondays. We went back Tuesday night and found that it was fully booked. So I made a reservation for Wednesday night. The drinks are great, the food is fine. The recipes are a bit unusual. Peaches are in season, so the salads featured grilled peaches. My wife had the Helix side salad as her main course, It included two small bites of chicken, but perhaps as a side salad, she should not have expected more. I had the crab cakes, which were delicious. The are called "jumbo" on the menu, which is a bit deceiving. They are generous, but the word jumbo suggests the possibility that they will be "jumbo lump," which they are not. The crab is finely shredded. There are two to three good restaurants in Grand Forks. This is one of them. Perhaps a soon to be opened steak house downtown will add another.
